Raaamen's "ironman" challenge explained

Backstory ​

One day I fell into MapleStory rabbithole while browzing YouTube and I opened one of those MapleStory Iceberg videos which led to a huge wave of nostalgia. Then I stumbled across Togains MapleStory ironman series, which was the final push for me to hop back into this game that has been with me my whole life.

This time it was different though. I wanted to do an Ironman challenge and create video series around it. Soon I realised that I don't have enough time or dedication to do a pure ironman run. So I decided to make my own rules. Call it what ever you want, here comes the rules!

Ramen challenge ​

Fresh character with no items or mesos transferred from existing accounts
Self explanatory. However, if you have seen me sitting in FM then you probably know that I have bended this rule myself. I transferred some rare chairs such as the winter red chair from my old account just to flex . But thats obviously it.

Free Market and trade between players is completely banned except for scrolls only!
Everyone knows that for pure ironman challenge all sort of trade is not allowed, but to save my own sanity and time I decided that I'm allowing myself to sell scrolls from gachapon or monsters and use those mesos to buy scrolls that I need. No other use items such as throwing stars are allowed, ONLY scrolls (clean slate, 10%, 30%, 60%, 70%, 100%, chaos- or whitescrolls)

Party play is allowed, but limited
Everyone also knows that Ironman is sad and lonely road with no party play at all. And thats not what MapleStory is all about. I love party questing and grinding with a friend or two. So that's why Im allowing party but there are rules to this too.

No shared loot
Even though party play is allowed, its only for the exp or party quest. Looting from other players is not allowed. I've bended this rule only a couple times. If im sure, that I did most of the damage to the monster that dropped something, then I have decided to loot couple items such as gachapon even though I know my party member did some damage to the monster too.

Absolutely no leeching
Yeah there are no exceptions to this rule

Party is only allowed with people that are around same level and streght
Killing one bubbling in kerning subway while your friend genesis bombs the whole map is obviously not within the rules. Partying is allowed with people that are in the same stage of the game as you are.

What about PQ?
There are no limitations to PQ and during this challenge party quests are gonna be one of your best ways to get exp and good items without buying any from the FM. Most valuable items are probably the maximum level pirate hat which gives +16 all stats. Because of no shared loot there's obviously no way to get zhelm so that PPQ hat is essential. Other great item is horus eye from Magatia PQ. It has potential to give you +8 all stats!
