Was originally going put it on discord, but as usual with my statements they are way too long.
    ------------
When we have 'ban waves' we usually get comments about it. Of course some appreciate the cleanup, but sometimes we get questionable comments. Today I want address such comment.

The user who messaged it to me stays anonymous, because its irrelevant who said it. It went as follows, and it was today:

Person: i think u guys should stop banning ppl
Person: just 385 ppl online x.x

Me: sure I will leave cheaters and RWTers in just to boost our usercount

    Person: :c
Person: i know that they desrve ban, but its a permanent ban?
Person: maybe they repent and they want to go back to play

Me: RWTing is perma ban with no exceptions

    Person: dam poor ppl
Person: how u know that they selled their accounts?
Person: Can not it be a mistake?

Which where I basically asked why the person is so defensive for no reason.

However, what I want address is the first bit about the user count.

This believe it or not is a statement I get more often, also at times when we ban vote abusers. It kind of make me twist my head.

However, let me make it very simple and clear that we will always keep banning cheaters, botters, vote abusers, RWT/RMT users regardless of user count.

I also want make it clear AGAIN that we do not ban Real World Traders for no reason and because we feel like banning someone. No, we do not ban simply because the person 'accidentally' said something once either.

What you should know about people that RWT is that they will never admit of being guilty on offenses they do, same if you are their friend. RWT users have one goal: to RWT. They will keep do that until they are out of stuff to sell, or if they got banned.

When they got banned they will try their hardest to lie to us (and possibly you) about things they claim they didn't do, even though we have all our proof together as staff. They do this because they either may get unbanned and get back to business, and if not lose everything anyway regardless. For them its either a win or same results, because they are already permanent banned anyway.

Likewise today the person we banned tried lie to us by claiming he didn't do anything. When we completely denied him he deleted everything he had (services to RWT on) to try get all the proof away, which to me is admitting defeat, and to us a victory. Obviously we kept local backups of all the gathered proof.

The message I want put here is that we as staff try our hardest to keep the game from being cheater free, as well as RWT free. RWT is still something I see as Pay2win, which I absolutely hate. This is why we hunt these people down as badly as we do. This is to make sure that people are not able to obtain powerful items by simply paying these users.

We rather have 380 people playing legit then 750 users where more of them are Real World Trading, using botting tools, etc.

We, the staff want personally thank everyone that have played on our servers legit since day one. You will always be seen as the most important part of the userbase. I know our rates and difficulty can sometimes be harsh, but trust me. When you do everything legit you feel much better about it. What's the point having a bishop that you got by buying it from someone else? Do you feel accomplished by it?

Hopefully with this cleared up there's less doubt about our bans regarding Real World Traders.

    Thank you,

    ~MapleLegends Staff~
