Completed Scheduled Maintenance July 9, 2018

This maintenance is a PATCH maintenance.
You are required to download new files in order to play.
Failing to do so will cause you to disconnect from the game.
Downloads will be made available during the maintenance.



Hello Maplers,

We will be performing a Scheduled Maintenance on Monday July 9, 2018. It will last hopefully shorter than the previous maintenance. Upon completion, the game will be brought back online and service will be restored. Once restored, you can login and play!

Time:
2 PM server time

What will be unavailable:

• All MapleLegends game servers and channels
• Merchants will be closed

Changes and Updates:

• New Area: Coke Town
• Skill changes
• Increased drop rates for Fish Nets
• Shaolin mobs will now also drop Vote Cash cards

Information for above is during the maintenance

Patch contents:

• The Jump Quest from last year's Summer Event will make a return
• Item Beach sandals can now be traded and dropped
• Item Supreme Fishing King Flag can now be traded and dropped
• The set effect from item Bu-bu-bubbles! should now work properly
  
• Fixed a bug where buying Shaolin coupons give you something else
• Summer Coupons can now be transferred using Cash Shop Storage
• Fixed a bug where Rage gives -attack for some levels
• Sweet Valentine's Day Chocolate should no longer crash your client
  
• Fixed an issue where 'field' related sounds such as PQ 'CLEAR' and 'WRONG' were being muted

MAC specific client bug fixes:

• 'Brown Puppy' should no longer get too excited and crash your client when you feed him/her
• Improved performance, but this is being continuously tested so please bear with us

Small notes:

• The anti-botting mobs will now spawn, but may be re-coded in near future, so you defeat them the same way as GMS.

More things may be added before or during the maintenance.

No, actually the opposite. You will talk to an NPC/Drop item on the reactor and they will instant die. Originally they are supposed to get a debuff and you are killing them yourself.

 

1) The JQ will give nets instead. How much you will find out by doing it.
2) Just hold the button. The map stays how it is, since I am not going touch what GMS did with the map
3) Can't answer this one right now.

Some client sided bugs are found, so the patch is a bit delayed. I will make a new topic when the patch files are available.
