Windows 8/8.1/10 Since the new patch

I also had this issue even before the patch, mostly happened in singapore but now after the patch it happens everywhere, even if i never entered the cake map

i also got this frequently, after this my screen will go balck and start flickering weird shapes. only got that weird error I send in #support on discord once, during a zakum run.

 

same, on my windows 10 pc its like this, my mac's fine.

 

This has to do with nvidia graphics cards too. All my friends with one have this error too and people playing on a laptop with intel graphics are just fine. I hope this gets fixed :+/

 

Aside from having Nvidia GPUs, could anyone having this issue post their audio devices, too?

If you're not sure how to find your audio device, Windows users can:

Start -> Run -> 'dxdiag' -> select the 'Sound' tab

The complete 'Name' and 'Drivers - Version' entries would be awesome.

Or just screenshot that tab, I guess.

What do audio devices have to do with dcs and graphic glitches tho
Here you go;

 

The request for audio devices is because I can't repro this on any system that DOESN'T use Realtek audio -- across the past 3 days I've put together 4 PCs to test this (a small job-lot of PC parts helped!), and the only one with issues is the one using Realtek audio, even with otherwise identical specs to the other systems.

 

Oh wow, nice find. How come I have realtek audio anyway? Is this just based on the motherboard or something? I'm not really good with that kind of stuff haha.

 

Yeah, the standard ones are integrated into motherboards -- you can pick up sound cards/USB devices and stuff... I kind of want to find out what's up, first, though!

 

I am having these issues aswell but not using an NVIDIA card im using the AMD Radeon R9 200 series graphics card, when I enter the cake event map I get even more buggy and dc :/

 

My suggestion:
Putting low graphics when entering event map,
use DXWND (windowed mode)

My problems were fixed with that, less dc and more fun.
