Spear/Polearm

Is it possible to even out the stab/swing from spear or polearm or to lower the difference?
So far if you make a drk youhave to go spear to boss.
The difference by what i could find is a 20% increase or reduction in stab/swing.

So if a polearm wielder wants to boss he does 80% damage with crusher
Wile a spearwielder does 120% with crusher. A 40% increase forcing you to go spear to boss..

can this be changed/fixed to be less of a huge difference, i personally like polearms more, but cant boss withoud going hybrit or having -40% damage....

 

that would force you to make 2 endgame weaps. as a beginning player i dont have the funds for this....

While i feel there should still be a difference between spear and polearm dmg i do think 40% is rediculous. I feel like getting rid of the decreasing 20% would even the skills out more (120% spear stab, 100% swing) and 100% polearm stab, and 120% swing) this would make using a polearm more viable, withoud breaking the current meta.

 

Surfbords, arc glaive, etc...
Right now using a glaive with 8more attack clean, would do 40% less damage, then a clean ski 8attack less.

Its not like they are easy to make tho.. Takes alllot of farming/luck to get the materials
