So I've been thinking about adding a new aspect into the game which is very similar to speedrunning- much like dungeon leaderboards where parties are ranked according to how fast they are able to clear a dungeon. My idea, is that in MapleLegends, parties would be ranked according to speed for PQs. Since each PQ has a timer, I'm sure it wouldn't be difficult to code something which is able to rank parties by time on a leaderboard (though I have no experience with coding).

Of course there would be limitations due to people farming PQs such as KPQ from 21-30 or LPQ from 35-50, there would simply be too many irrelevant stats for people just trying to level. Maybe only the top 5 times would get recorded on the leaderboard (along with the names of each person involved in the PQ). This would encourage people to find party members with the intention of speedrunning, while at the same time not discouraging casual PQers from continuing to go about their daily routines.

I think this would add an interesting competitive aspect to PQs, with people forming parties specializing in different aspects of speed, along with the factor of luck (RNG) which PQs like KPQ and LPQ rely on. The meta would change and evolve as people start to discover what sort of party is the most optimal for each PQ. It could even extend further than the spectrum of PQs, I don't see why Fitness or other likewise events/static activities can't have a comparable leaderboard due to the fact that the event uses the same maps every time.

For those of you who have never watched speedrunning before, here is my favourite example to show people when introducing them to competitive speedrunning:
