    Good afternoon!

    I am a new player and recently switched my OS from Windows to MACOS, but I can't seem to even enter the game - the only time an error message appeared it said the app was outdated, but I downloaded the latest version.

    I am using Mojave 10.14.6.

    Thank you for your attention!

    Okay, I downloaded the game.
    I had the same popup as you, as the game is not optimized and you need to update it.

    Trying to open it multiple times, just closes automatically, lemme try doing some changed on the wineskin.

    czrnhakczrnhak Okay I was able to start it.

    I'm on Mojave 10.14.5
    You have to do some simple steps.

    • Right click on MapleLegends > Show Package Contents > drive_c > Neckson > MapleLegendsHD > Legends.ini
    • In Legends.ini you change HDClient = true to HDClient = false.
      • Remember to save the file!
      • You can open this file with any text editor, your Mac should come with TextEdit and that should be enough.
    • In Wineskin set the Windowed size to 800x600.
    • Have it in Windowed mode when logging in (even with double screen).
    • Change the settings in Wineskin to use Mac Driver (Don't check Retina Mode, else you'll play on a super uber small screen)

    With this you'll be able to play the game.

    Good afternoon! Thank you very much for your reply.
    I should change to 800x600 in Wineskin, correct? I've searched for a resolution size on wineskin but haven't found any size/res option. Any thoughts?

    Thank you very much again for the help so far

    Sorry for replying so late, I'm kinda busy irl with projects.

    So the idea to get Wineskin / MapleLegends to work is to put the window in 800x600.

    Go to Applications and find Maplelegends, right click and do "Show Package Contents", you will see 3 folders
    drive_c , Contents and Wineskin.

    You have to travel as such in Finder
    Click drive_c -> Neckson -> MapleLegendsHD
    In the folder MapleLegendsHD you'll find a file called `Legends.ini`
    Open this with TextEdit (Right click and `Open With`)

    You have to look at this
    [RESOLUTION]
    ; This sets your resolution to 1366x768
    ; Put on false if you prefer nostalgic 800x600 resolution
    HDClient = true

    Change the HDClient value to false:
    [RESOLUTION]
    ; This sets your resolution to 1366x768
    ; Put on false if you prefer nostalgic 800x600 resolution
    HDClient = false

    Save it and close the file.

    After this go back to the first 3 folders, open Wineskin and click on `Set Screen Options`
    and select the option `Mac Driver`.

    It should work after you did these steps.
    If any problem arise write again, I'll try to watch over the forum in the next couple of days.
