Taunt Changes?

    What does this mean? The 1.4x modifier was previously not applied and is now properly applied? Or does it mean drop rate + 0.4?


    Of course people would apply Taunt on the last hit, increasing weapon defense is not desirable so if you're able to you would only use it to last hit. How does a video of people min-maxing suggest an overall 40% damage reduction instead of the 40% weapon defense increase that's implied from the skill description?

    Even if 40% damage reduction was the intended mechanic, Shadowers are already weak, why are they getting nerfed when other classes that were previously perceived as weak received buffs? The ability to use bstep mid-air and on the edge of platforms is also not GMS-like, are those going to be removed as well? What about the Bucc and Pally skill changes? Those aren't GMS numbers. DrK roar doesn't stun the user???

    If the goal is to make Shad grinding capabilities weaker, then fine. Compensate with single target number increases.

    The difference between 'bstep mid-air' and this taunt fix is that this just fixed packets and code to match GMS-like. B-step is a client mod, a direct 'hack' that intentionally changed the game. So. no. Bstep off-hills is not going to be removed.

    Taunt is no longer coded shitty like in OdinMS. That's pretty much what got changed.

    EDIT: Drop rate increase previously didn't work at all. You can blame the hacky OdinMS code I just talked about for that.
