"This is an ID that has been deleted or blocked"

Description of the bug: (optional screenshot/video): At character selection on one of our computers, my bf and I both are getting a notice (on our individual accounts) that says "This is an ID that has been deleted or blocked from connection. Please check again" and our characters don't have an up or down status on the rankings.
What is supposed to happen?: I'm able to play
Where did you find and/or notice this bug?: during character selection after login
A step-by-step guide to re-producing this bug (optional):
Extra information (optional): Running the new patch on an old computer but with Linux freshly installed. We've checked our Maple Legends accounts and they say we're not banned either. We are able to log on to our characters on another computer so it may be a computer specific issue. Outlander said it could be a MAC address ban but my bf tried that and it didn't work.
