Turning certain equips into NX items?

I just wanna wear female clothes.

 

Oh I think it's possible... you can probably just rip the sprites from their original sources and then use them for cosmetics. Only thing is, there's a lot of gears out there... xD

 

If maplestory servers actually do use MySQL(quick unreliable google search) and the owners use programs like heidiSQL or navicat it might have a displayID and item ID. It'd be really easy to write a query that duplicates all items into a different item ID while deleting their stats and turning them into costume items at the same time.

 

Might get confusing if many people wear the wrong job clothes though.

 

Not like this matters too much considering most people are either nxless and all in a bathrobe or covered in various wz that makes it more difficult to determine their class anyway.

Lots of people love the lv40 thief hat. That might be nice, too. I like the idea, but not all items should be available. A night lord throwing stars with a pole arm? No way...

That depends though. I quit way before the fushion anvil thing was released. You could say it is nostalgic in a way to not have players wearing totally out of place equips.

 

I have always wanted this and I was ecstatic when gms added it. But gms is crap now and here we are. Wanting.

 

What about a donor item, which allows you to type any equip name (excluding GM equips, pendants and rings) and creates a cosmetic replica with no stats of it. Could be called "Mirror of Deceit" or something. I don't know how possible it would be to code something like that.
