We need a white scroll merchant

having a merchant means there's an unlimited supply. this just ask for perfect weapons to be the norm/meta, juz like 30k hp NLs

 

Unlimited supply wouldn’t be bad. It would simply mean there’s availability to the non top 1%’ers which is what it’s supposed to be

 

but it would also means that it will be the norm/meta. what is now a luxury will be a minimum requirement in future meta

 

It’s not a luxury. It’s not that hard to get a high attack item, which you’ll realistically only top when using white scrolls. If you don’t have at least a near perfect weapon by lvl 190 you’ll be regarded as playing the game wrong

I think a red haired santa clause should give every player that logs in on christmas a white scroll.

 

Idk about a full on merchant but limiting how many you can buy per week could work maybe once or twice. Not just ws but cs too. Ip bind or something, add lvl restriction to it, etc somehow make it so that ppl wouldnt abuse it with infinite accounts. Also idk about making it untradeable. It'd rather help bring the price down if theyre tradeable as long as theyre limited like i mentioned above. But yeah straight up having a merchant like some pot npc / making em untradeable seems a bit extreme.

Also, its BEEN the norm/meta. Ppl strive to be greater and better, i mean why is there upgrades in the first place lol. Its just that ppl cant afford it with the current prices as the markets gone to shit. Not everyone can play all day 24/7 and shit. Dont forget that fcked up ass bullshit ass rng. How is it fair for the prices to be double-triple now? Ppl have to work for it that much extra so by now some players should be easily well over qualified. It restricts them from achieving however far they wanna reach which just doesnt make sense. What makes them "less special" now as opposed to when the market was alot cheaper? I mean cheap af cheaper.

 

Why does sweeper nerf still exist if ws/cs prices are not going to be addressed?

 

No, 70 ws at 150m is 10.5 billion mesos, it’s certainly less than now but still completely out of reach for most players. It’s still going to be a luxury end game item. 10.5 bil on average to scroll a perfect endgame weapon sounds fair, no?

This change would immediately solve the pricing and speculative nature of ws and cs, but I’m sure the scalpers wouldn’t like that

 

objectively i find it hard to see a problem with having a white scroll merchant. if nothing else, it would guarantee that the meso always holds its value, which is a good thing.

edit: for flavor you can put the shop in a high level area like ToT or Leafre and palette swap one of those wizard guys who sell 100% scrolls

I think everything should come from gachapon. It is very exciting that progress for end-game players is tied to a <1% chance of obtaining an item that generally has a 10% chance of improving their gear, especially for bossers whose income is tied to low-chance profitable drops. When I dedicate 4 hours to kill a boss and see that nothing nice drops, it drives me to play the game even harder. Maybe I can even play 26 hrs a day.

Better yet, let's have pots come only from gachapon. People have been saying washing has made NLC pots too OP. I think if pots were only attainable from gacha, it would make the game more balanced. "Wow I got 10 fat sausages! I can't wait to grind another hour for a chance of getting a couple gach tickets for an even smaller chance of getting nicer pots! This game is so rewarding!"

Idk you ever heard of that, but I think FM has quite a number of merchants selling WS at 250m?
You might want to check it out before the merchants decide to sell them at 300m.

 

Sounds good tbh. 150 mil might be a bit low though for an unlimited supply from a merchant

 

They were 100-120m up until when i started. 150 doesnt sound low at all lmao i mean not everyone can even pull out 10m out of their stash
