What is the monsterbook ring?

The monsterbook ring is a fun little feature that with a bit of effort, can help you on your Maplelegends adventure.

To start find rino in lith harbor and speak to them for the Tier 0 ring.

With this you can begin the next stage which is of course going to be farming monster cards.

What are monster cards?

These are, they drop from mobs you hunt.

Collecting 5 of the same card (5 red snail cards for example) will give you 1 ‘set’ and each tier of the monsterbook ring requires 30 new sets to upgrade, so you are going to need a few of them.

Keep in mind any cards you farm prior to getting the base tier 0 ring will still count towards your overall total.

After collecting your first 30 rino(the npc who gave you the ring)will contact you via a quest lightbulb over your head and inform you it is time to upgrade.

Reading the quest text will inform you of what you need to do.

With the appropriate bits in hand(for the first upgrade a refined garnet)head on back to lith harbor and once again speak to rino(make sure to unequip the ring or they won’t let you complete the quest) and get your shiny shiny tier 1 ring



Going forward the process from here is very much the same

• Collect 30 more sets
  
• Get another prompt from Rino.
• Collect the gem required and take the ring back to upgrade.

Repeat until you have 300 sets and you can end up with this magnificent specimen.



Keeping track of how many sets you have can be done by either counting the sets manually from your book or you can type !charstats in the chat window ingame, this will also give you some general information about your toon, along with how many cards and card sets you have accumulated.
