When can you start bossing

For zakum and krex, it's lv135 minimum in order to gain exp. But you might have some trouble finding party invites unless you're lv140

 

What matter is , that you have proper stats (unlike 300+ ints on NL), and proper skills (ex. brandish, aca, stance for hero), proper gears so you can do proper works which is asked for you.

Hurdle depends on your class heavily.

I feel like there's plenty of runs you could join, but you'd make your own life a lot easier by finding a guild that just does exp runs for shits 'n giggles that you could join.

 

The easiest way to run something like zak at lv135 is to put together zak arms runs. About half the total zak exp are in the arms alone and arms run will save you 1/3 of the time and much pot money

When I was a lvl 140 hero my gears are mostly unscrolled with afew exceptions. Plus I had 80 base int, so damage wise you have more advantage:

- Zak Helm (14STR 16DEX)
- No racoon eyes/goggles
- sad mask +9acc, clean (no dex)
- greed lucida + skirt, both clean, perfect stats (4str + 7dex, 4str + 5dex)
- Blue Xmas Socks (2str + 6dex) [You are better off using blue crescent boots clean]
- 12wa glove (the only decent gear I got. Using 8-10wa glove is perfectly fine too)
- 122wa claymore (got one for 35m.)
- Choice between 2wa black raggey, and 13dex gaia cape. 2wa black raggey gives me slightly more damage

Even if i had 120wa claymore + 8wa glove, im sure I'll do fine in zak at that level.

I started do zak everyday when i was lv121 tho.

 

lv120 is prolly a good timing to start rav and pap.
being below 135 and going for zak, im sure thats possible, and with non-int lord stat u can do decent damage. however there's not much exp benefits in it

does it applies to any monster below your level? or just bosses in general

 

True on top of the decrease in range due to the monster's defense stat. Even tho people just go to any boss as soon as they can leech (at least Zakum and HT) since the exp you get really helps you get to their level.
