Windows 8/8.1/10 Won't launch in Win 8.1

    I installed the game on my Win 8.1 laptop after I successfully played in the past on it under Win 7 and on my main Win 10 desktop, but nothing happens after launching it from the shortcut. Tried compatability settings and running as administrator. I have Nod 32 AV that I disabled for this check and added the MS root folder to exclusions.
