Zakum's 1/1 attack

Where did you find and/or notice this bug?: Did my first Zakum run on this server and noticed it.

Can you describe the bug in detail? If not, can you provide a screenshot/video of the bug?: Meso Guard doesn't block 1/1 attacks, meaning that you lose the full HP amount and drop all the way to 1 HP/MP.

What is supposed to happen?: Normally, 50% of the damage received is blocked by Meso Guard (e.g. if you have 6,200 HP, you get hit for 6,199 HP, of which 50% is blocked by MG). At least, this is what happened on GMS; I heard from @Losj this wasn't the case on EMS. It might've been changed in later versions on GMS, too, I'm not too sure on that.

Spoiler: Meso Guard description

As you can see, the description even states that it guards 50% of the damage received. It doesn't distinguish spells/magic attacks to be excluded. So by description, it should block it... But since when were Maple descriptions 100% accurate?

Can you provide a step-by-step guide to re-producing this bug? Getting hit by 1/1 attacks with Meso Guard. It should still drop you to 1 HP (or 1 + HP received from potions when you have Auto HP on).

 

I don't know the first thing about Warriors, does Achilles block it or not. o-o

 

@Kimberly Any way I can prove this? I don't know, but what I could do is show that it works on another private server. o-o

Found a video from v0.8x Maple, at 9:44 - 9:47 Zakum uses 2 of these 1/1 attacks. The second hits him and lowers him to 3,040 HP while he is at 6,079 HP, meaning he receives 6,078 damage, which is then halved to 3,039 damage by Meso Guard.

6,079 - 3,039 = 3,040 HP, which is what he's left with.

 

Thanks, good luck on fixing it. That should keep me from dying at Zakum from 1/1 + stun or laggy Heals. @Aero
