Sure, being able to drop something like $120 a day is... looking for the word. Not exactly impressive. Sad and worrying, really. Unless you are really really rich.

It's all besides the point anyway. You are talking about a pay2win system ran by a corrupt, greedy company, all while spending all one's money on a game, which isn't healthy. Nor is it anything close to "nostalgic" or how the game should be played.

You're telling me that with cheaper resets you're gonna train faster.
Either way you're going to wash out your int at the same level so there wont be a difference in damage, don't even say it makes you train slower when you're going to be leeching anyways.
The only way your damage will fall off tremendously will be because you're trying to get a ridiculous amount of hp.

 

No thats not what I'm telling you. I said that if you're able to allocate more of your AP into your primary stat, your range will be higher so training will be faster. But if you can disprove that please do.

Just because you would have wanted to spend irresponsibly stupid amounts of money on a video game 13 years ago, that doesn't make it the norm, the expected, or the common yardstick by which you should expect everything on this private server to judge.

There is no argument standing. And frankly I don't care what "argument" you could make out of this "anecdotal evidence" if you can even call it that.

 

This is not an irresponsible amount of money for an adult. Which most people on this server is, I think? Atleast most people in my guild is 20+.

 

You made the claim you would drop $120 a day on this game. That's $840 a week. $3600 a month. $43,800 a year! More than double what I've been making with my shitty full time job! lol This is nothing a responsible adult would ever consider spending on a game.

Ok, but let's assume you only meant to spend a finite amount of money, just so you could get all your AP resets whenever you want. There are still huge issues with your comparison (which I think I've already stated).

1) You're talking about a pay2win system, which grants you in-game benefits instantaneously.

2) Our server is strictly against pay2win and such similarities.

3) Most people don't share your spending habits anyway.

I don't know about your country, but a Mc Donalds worker in my country could afford this easily.

You don't lower the time spent washing by making it 24 times faster. You just make people wash more. Might as well put every character on 30 k hp if you make ap resets 128 nx. Because that is a nostalgic experience right?

 

People spending that much are extreme outliers I'd wager. You're basically getting $150 worth of nx a month here which is more than a majority of people would spend a month on an mmo. Seems fair enough to me.

And even if you're one of those people who'd spend that kind of money I don't think 'nostalgia' is a valid argument. I'd guess most of us don't have nostalgic memories blowing hundreds in one go as teenagers to wash. If you do you're an anomaly and not the average person.

Okay, look at it like this.
GMS took around 40 hours of irl work to fully hp wash an assassin.
I suggest we make it take 40 hours of work on this server too, but "ingame work", so it's not p2w.
Perhaps a string of killquests, or a number of partyquests that needs to be completed x number of times, or perhaps even a number of minibosses/bosses that needs to be killed.
Maybe a number of drops that needs to be collected.

 

If you make a full 360 every hour it's a bit hard to properly respond.

What I meant was lowering the price in the shape of time. Sorry I wasn't clear, I'm glad you pointed it out.
