Information GTOP100 temp. changes

Is there a reason for this experiment? Is it to garner more votes?
If so, I have a suggestion to obtain more votes. I think we can all agree that most of us do NOT vote just for voting sake, but rather we vote for NX cash. And some people do not vote at all. Getting 5k per vote is A LOT of NX (essentially equating to 5 dollars). Now this potentially is going to be 6K a day. The cash shop in Legends is essentially cosmetic only, as it historically was. However, there is a problem with this. It severely limits our voting potential. Think of it, once I get the look that I want, I probably won't change it for awhile. How can this be solved? My proposal is slightly extreme, but it will essentially keep the server the same but with more votes, potentially pushing us to the top. I propose lowering the EXP rate to normal 1x, and then adding 2x EXP coupons to the cash shop. It's not pay to win, it's vote to win. In this way, after we obtain the look we want, we will continue voting in desire for that sweet 2x.
Doing this accomplishes a few things:

1. Keeping the server essentially the same
2. Adding more to it's authenticity to what the original was
3. Getting more votes.

Just some things to consider.

 

It sucks to have to cater to the flaws of GTOP100, but I think this change will make for positive change in a few ways:

1. More votes. Though GTOP100 sucks and has a death grip on the private server environment, it's a necessary evil to cater to. This will hopefully let us compete with other servers without jeopardizing the server's integrity.
2. Makes vote abuse less rewarding - abusers will have to walk to 2x as many places for approximately the same output.

Only downside is for those who play with friends/family in the same household in suburban/rural areas - but hopefully this is the vast minority.

Can't wait to see the results.

if i voted 12am yesterday , means today i have to wait for 12am to vote or 12pm now can vote again ?

 

Did the timer on the vote message on login get adjusted too?

 

You need a different IP / different internet connection, such as your phones Data

If you voted at 12am, you should be able to vote at 12pm ASSUMING gtop refreshed their system to allow 2x voting on ML on aug 31st

 

actually kind of like this idea half a day in. Makes it easier to vote on a different account so u can buy something quickly in the cs like meso magnet, owl, etc and not have to wait a whole 24 hrs to get nx back on lets say a main account. Though the amount = more than 5k per day is also another beneficial factor 3k gets u most things that u might need in a pinch if something exp and voted 12 hrs ago.

 

This is somewhat surprising and confusing at the same time...
But I'm sure I'll get used to it soon enough ^^

Obviously GTOP issue but I voted at work on my work computer/IP 12 hours ago
Now I tried to vote on my laptop/wifi and gtop doesnt let me vote (says I need to wait 5hours)
So i attempted on my phone and data, and i get the exact same error... so now im missing out on my vote again X_X
