Do paladins need a buff?

    Hey, I updated this comparison hero to pallies, I play them both a little.

    Pally pre-nerf
    -Is better than Hero during ht under certain conditions
    -depending on cleave composition if there are >2 cleavers pally is stronger
    -Also an unfunded equip pally does more dmg then an unfunded hero in horntail due to hammer having no scaling

    Pallies are much stronger in
    -Scar/Targa
    -area bosses crow, samurai, bigfoot
    -NT Bosses
    - has a much easier time levelling with weaker equips before 155 in grind places due to hammer
    -better in zak.
    -post 155 pallies have a wider efficient range of training areas to level, such as Nt and Area bosses.
    -they are worse in training in grind places like Shaolin 7f after 155.

    -better in Ht, if there are only 2 cleavers and less (so if there is a mage, DK+hero, heroes are weaker)
    and has to be well-funded(dmg is multiplied and scaled)
    -Cwkpq
    -better in grinding post 155 when have good equips
    -less efficient variety of training methods best to grind or ht
    ----------------------------------------------
    Pally Post Nerf
    After Nerfs
    -Hero is better in ht every situation now
    -better in Cwkpq, and better in zak for the arms portion
    -pally beats hero in everything else.

    -rage and enrage are skills replaced by potions so they cant be accounted for balancing

    there’s an option to play both because they share the same weapon, to make up for their weakness.

    Pally is still quite good overall even after nerf. both are good unfunded classes, but pally was stronger unfunded due to 200k hammer.
    now with 50k hammer, they are much weaker in ht. Also, the changes nerfed their zak and Cwkpq Dpm.

    Most people only care about horntail balancing due to it being the most Mesos/XP end game.

    I suggest buffing other bosses drops/more incentives so that the game balance does not revolve completely over horntail.

    I dont get the post nerf part o.o
    Paladin pre nerf is worst in cwkpq than hero but post nerf is better than hero?

    Changing a class identity, then suggesting to buff other places drops is the most pepega solution I have ever heard,This also enforces muling Paladins even more for nt drops.
    people enjoy doing cwkpq and Horntail not just because it has better drops or exp, because it has party play, unlike nt your hitting a wall of hp by yourself
    Am a casual player I can’t believe I had to point it out to you, I assume your an experienced player so you should see these things.

    Ya let’s make Horntail immune to bilzzard, and genesis, because mages make better meso at ulu2 ......they still have there single target attacks and buffs

    Yo propuse que mejoren carga sagrada y ACB, no se por que dices que equilibrar carga sagrada perjudicaría por los puntos que necesitaría para subir, solo tardaria un poco en max pero como te explique en un post anterior al mejorar ACB compensaría en algo el entrenamiento temprano en 4to job, soy paly lv 177 1h con la meta de ser una piedra en bossing, need max (iron boddy + power ward + threaten+ shield mastery + achiles + guardian and got 30k clean hp) con los 69 puntos que me faltan pienso maxear achiles, rush y si puedo mw; después de eso me sobrarían puntos que no pienso poner en monster magnet por que el HH ya cumple la función de tomar el agro; tengo planeado en ponerlos en holy charge al final por que esa es la identidad de clase de los palys manejar cargas de acuerdo a cada mob o boss
    mi compilacion actual en lv 177 es:
    Achiles 13/30
    Guardian 30/30
    Maple warrior 10/20
    Monster magnet 0/30 kekv
    Power stance 30/30
    Rush 15/30
    Blast 30/30
    Divine charge 1/20
    Heros will 5/5
    ACB 10/10
    Heavens hammer 30/30
    con 42 puntos terminaria de max achiles MW rush por lo que 69-42=27 puntos que podría ir en monster magnet y max teniendo solo heros will a lv 2 pero pienso que monster magnet no es de mucha ayuda a los palys por el HH, mejor terminaría max holy charge 20/20 y monster magnet en 7 a lv 200

    Is there an endgame niche for pally mains?
    The extra damage on verga,nib, and nameless is nice, but does it mean anything? when there is a 4 hr timer for these bosses and they don’t have that much hp.
    Am lv 161 atm, I don’t feel like there is a reason to lv my pally, when a lv 150 hero can solo all nt bosses, makes killing these bosses feels less rewarding, doesn’t feel like strong feat pallies can perform.
    the timer should be reduced to 20min, which I think it’s appropriate for 2-4 man run, these bosses shouldn’t be solo farmed.
    I have made same comment previously, I just want to make it clear again.
    Also would like to hear balance team thoughts about it.

    hey man, how is this related to buffing other boss drops? if other bosses had some incentive to do I think pally would be more balance after this nerf.
    they just suck at ht and ht is the only thing that makes good mesos n xp. but just straight nerfing the hammer without any buffs is kind of dumb.

    My other suggestion is to make a counterbalance team because one balance team isn't enough to make all decisions.

    N0thing happens, "we'll continue to collect data" and 2 years later when there are like 3 active paladin players again holy charge gets a small buff (no sp resets given though)

    With the recent Pally buffs, will we see a resurgence of bromance between serperior and protoss?
