Your experience with 30% scrolls?

I have very good experiences passed 3 out of 6 on chainmails the other day. 2 on one chain 1 on the other. Also passed a few cape 30% on first try. And passed 2 30% on a bathrobe on first 2 slots and 1 on first of another with like 4 trys.

I think having a bowlcut makes me scroll well. Try it out kerning VIP.

 

30%'s great! I like using it on first slot, then 60%ing the rest. Or, 30% first slot then 70% the following 2 slots and then 60% the rest. That kind of combination. There's a risk, but not that high. 30% work for me most of the time. Really, 30% always felt like 40% or 50% for me.

 

You can't take a sample of 15-30 scrolls and jump to that conclusion, if you've used over 200-300 scrolls, let's talk.

I either pass 0 30s or boom on 1st/2nd slot or pass 3 in a row, no in between. lol

 

lol I had 10 booms in a row with 30% I mean come on really

1 in 36000 chance niyuka, should have bought myself a scratch card

 

I have succeeded some, boomed some more. Got a nice hat and a shield, but I have boomed all my robes and earrings.

all up to rng maan. i failed 6/7 shoe jumps. then theres cherry who worked two back to back >.<

 

hey guys, do you also kinda feel like the 30% scrolls have actually higher success rate than 30%? Like, 40% or 50%?

 

I actually shared my experience. o-o Just not in absolute numbers.

I can share some numbers from another server, but that would defeat the purpose, too.

As for this server: Passed 4/7 30%s so far. The failed 3 all boomed.

 

The scrolls actually have a higher chance of booming than succeeding. The chance to fail is 0,7 and the chance to boom is 0,50.

0,7 x 0,5 = 0,35

 

I passed 2 30% OA Int scrolls on my bathrobe consecutively but I agree that the scroll percentages are a bit suspic. I've always felt 30% was more like 10% while 10% was more like 1% and so on...

 

It's all RNG. I've landed:

3/4 of 30% (75% success)

16/27 of 60% (~59% success)

and 22/22 of 100% (100% success wow)

You mean you have used 100 10% scrolls and only one has succeeded?

 

There was a case back in GMS where someone was shooting a video of him FAILING a 100% scroll. Its on youtube somewhere. Wonder if that was real or not?

 

Scroll percentages are labeled according to the chance you have at passing the scroll when you use it right then and there instead of the ratio of how much scrolls you'd have to use for it to pass... (Or am I misinformed... D: ) For example, if I were to use a 10% scroll, I have a 10% chance that it will pass and 90% chance it will fail.

 

Yes, you have a 10% chance to pass a scroll and 90% chance to fail, which means you have a 1 in 10 chance to pass and 9 in 10 chance to fail. Thus, statistically, you should pass 1 scroll every 10 tries. That's how percentages work.

If you say you feel like there is a 1% chance for success it means you feel like you have to use 100 scrolls for 1 scroll to succeed.
