Suggestion: Quest Ranking

I believe it'd be nice to see how fellower questers stack up against each other ^^

 

This is a very nice idea. As for where it should show up, I think that the ranking on the website is the best place, there is a button for ranking by fame so why not have one more for ranking by quests? Exceptions don't make any sense tough, as already demonstrated in this thread: if you make an exception for one thing, people will already request exceptions for the next thing. Just count the number of completed quests.

Here's a newsflash: veteran players already have an advantage over lower level players, seeing as high level = more quests available and easier to do quests. Rarely is anything ever perfectly equal in this game, so no point complaining about it.

But at the same time, you could say veteran players don't. Since this system is being implemented nearly a year after the start of the server, a lot of those older players have probably skipped over quests with level limits without so much as a thought.

The whole idea is probably not that important but whatever.. if it's happening, we'll see how the "rankings" look.

 

That's what I'm doing right now. I will make my OPQ dreams come true.

 

Hopefully this will bring more people to do OPQ/PPQ. My problem with quests related to those PQ`s was that it was simply too difficult to find people to do it. Together with some of the maple island quests I couldn`t do, I think I lost like 10 quests in total.

Maple Island, job related, etc, wouldn't matter much to me. The whole system would be a big huge pain in the ass to implement and make it 100% fair, I can almost promise you that it's not going to happen that way. A simple database query of total completed quests would be easy, and STILL something that would be ML-original.
