What? Kpq would still take a long time. If anything make it for 21-30 and then for 31+ only people.

 

I don't agree. It'll encourage carrying your own account through the PQ and therefore so-called "power leveling", and destroy the PQ feel to it IMO. That's just me, though, I can see others wanting it.

This, as much as I'd like to be able to do pqs at my level this will be the outcome. I've already seen it start to happen in HPQ.
Unless there's a way to duplicate the PQ and have it give no EXP, have it only for pure fun, then I disagree.

I like the idea since some days it's a pain in the toosh to find people within your lvl range to get a decent pq run going. Plus sometimes you have friends who would be willing to help you out but yakno'....they're already over the level cap.

I don't really see it as a "powerleveling" issue because how many people are gonna choose to KPQ/LPQ/etc > Their grinding spots for the sake of being "social" or even "helpful" to kiddies who're trying to get to 30/50/etc when they're 100+ (or yakno, just generally a lot stronger than the level requirement in general)?

There's still the puzzles & social aspect of it overall. That's just my 2cents.

 

I dig this. HPQ already has no limit, might as well make them all.

 

Maybe we could allow this until our community gets larger.
Then once there are more KPQ'ers and LPQ'ers we could add the level cap back.

 

I dont like the idea of this, it might be fun to dominate the pq's with 3rd 4th job skills, but it would totally ruin the PQ itself. There will be no fun, activity, nor challenge for the required pq players, they might as well leech off from high players since they are doing most of the work... Without lifting a single finger

 

No way. All pre-bb servers do this and it is always a bad idea. People just powerlevel on PQs and forget about the rest of the game. Not to mention having one level 21 but nobody wanting to pq with him, so he gets some level 100+ guild members to come power him through the pq.

I really hope this doesn't get implemented.

I think it would be cool for higher levels to still access PQs for the items that are exclusive to that PQ, but not be able to PQ with players in the level range. So for LPQ if you were level 35~50 you could only PQ with people level 35~50, and if you're 51+ you could only PQ with people 51+. That way people can't leech off of higher levels killing everything and making PQs easier.

 

well the only reason high levels would want to PQ would be to help friends or their own alt characters, they wouldn't PQ with players the same level as them, so that just makes this pretty unnecessary.

 

so then level 100+ can help a level 31 power through kpq until level 35

No...just no

 

No matter how you look at it the PQs will be done faster. Mond will be killed faster, people will move faster, low level players get buffs to make them stronger. So yes power leveling will be a thing.
