Windows 8/8.1/10 After 10 minutes I start lagging and have to restart client

    Dear staff,

    Everytime I'm playing I start lagging in 10 minutes (when in a map with mobs, not in town) and it won't stop unless I restart the maplelegends client. But I have to redo this every 10 minutes. Is this a known bug or do you might know what's going on?

    Tried turning off my firewall and play in all different compatibility modes (worked in Royals). Both didn't work. Any other idea?

    Are you saying it also happened there? And no, this is not a known issue at all.

    Hmm i talked to some people when attacking snowman and they said they had the same problem. Hope someone finds a solution.

    Snowman is something much different though, you have it all time I suppose? You also didn't answer my question.

    I'm sorry, yes it also happened there but it might just be the fact that Royals is being updated atm. I have it at all times. It starts lagging after 5 minutes and after 10 i can't even play anymore and have to restart the client. I have a fast pc so it shouldn't happen. Ty

    Well I haven't really heard anyone DCing with this issue besides you, so this is difficult for us to pinpoint what the issue is...

    I know some guy who had the same issue on another server, and I've had the same issue in a windows 10 virtual machine (doesn't happen on a Linux one). The common denominator here seems to be windows 10, so it might be a problem with windows 10 itself, but I really dunno since I haven't really used windows 10 for long before uninstalling it.

    Thanks for all the replies! I fixed it yesterday. I just put mapleroyals in another folder when installing and for some reason i don't lag anymore.
