Guide for Windows Alt+Enter doesn't work / GR2D Error!

Hey, I need help with that. I have laptop with Intel HD Graphics and i try to add 800x600 resolution but I cant change it anywhere (I cant find it anywhere?) I can add that resolution from Intel HD Graphics panel but then I don´t see it anywhere. Please help me, I love to play MapleLegends. I have updated my Graphics etc.

 

There should be a customize button in the Intel HD Graphics panel

 

I ran into same problem as Henkka98. I add, then, it says 800x600, 60p Hz under "Custom Resolutions List". but I don't see it as an option on general setting resolution. Is it done?Also, I don't know where is Color Depth part is.

 

I've been struggling with this error for a couple of days now.

I've scoured the internet and this forum for plenty of solutions.

I've done all I've found regarding refresh rate, compatability mode, hardware acceleration, drivers, this custom resolution thing, dxwnd, Legends+ and all combinations of any of these. Still out of luck.


This is doing my head in, if anyone knows any other possible solution I would be very grateful.

I'm running Windows 10, my native resolution is 1900x1200 (16:10), I have a nvidia card (GTX 1060) and my monitor's refresh rate is 60Hz.

 

I had this issue once. My monitor refresh rate was stuck at 59 hz despite my many attempts to change it to 60 hz. I got a new monitor and it fixed this issue.

 

Thank you so much for your reply Lily! I got it working. What I had to do was lower my resolution, 1600x1200 was enough, and then boot up the game. Afterwards I can go back to my native resolution and continue playing.

Not ideal but it's working!

 

Hey, I'm having this error and don't have the 600x800 resolution as an option on my pc
I have intel(R) UHD Graphics 620, and can't figure a way to make it run maple

 

Yes, I do not have "custom resolution" only "scale and layout" and it doesn't change the resolution.

 

Hi, I was struggling with this for a while with my AMD graphic card and finally found out why, some AMD drivers override the CRU settings and windowed ML just won't work. So here is how you can actually fix this really quick:

• Open up 'AMD Radeon Settings' by right clicking on the desktop:

• Then click 'Display' and toggle 'Virtual Super Resolution' on:

​

• And done! Now you should be able to run the game in windowed mode.

I just downloaded and started playing after encountering this issue but I'm wondering, why does this happen? It works perfectly fine with other servers and games. Will you guys fix this sometime?

 

Ohhh got it! I didn't know it was the 60hz that was the problem and thought I had to change the resolution but after changing back to default (resolution) it works perfectly fine!

 

I'm getting one of these errors for the HD client. Here's the catch, though: I'm running AMD technology (Radeon R9 390x) and I've tried entering a custom resolution for 1366x768, which is supposedly what the client runs on, but it says my monitor can't support that resolution.
Basically, I think we need a new workaround for this error with the new HD client, because I don't think most of the solutions in this thread are relevant to it. If anyone can come up with a solution or has any ideas, please share them.
I'll try some experiments in the mean time.

 

Well if your monitor can't run that specific resolution these workarounds aren't 100% guaranteed to work.

Only if there was a way for the client to trick the system by running in WindowMode as a different resolution...
