Nope, Lucy is #1 for me. Actually DBZ is because I grew up watching it before I knew what Anime was. I took that shit so seriously back in the day (By this I mean I got really excited, not actually took it as irl). LOL

this season's Boku dake ga Inai Machi (Erased) is good!!

 

My personal list of recommendations for this season:

Boku dake ga Inai Machi (Erased): A bit on the psychological/mystery side, can be heartwarming at times. Godly pacing, animation, and camera angles. I highly recommend it.

Haikyuu!! Second Season: Pure volleyball anime. I've watched/read my fair share of sports anime/manga, and I have to say this is worth looking at if you love the genre. Very realistic, definitely deserves its top 20 all time spot on MAL. It can get a bit feels deep sometimes so prepare for that.

Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo: If you want to turn your brain off and laugh your ass off for 20 minutes, take a look at this one. Hilarious cast and so many opportunities allow it to be so comedic. Also a heavy ecchi, so you might want to watch this if you like that genre/strictly avoid it if you hate it.

Prince of Stride: Alternative: Running parkour relay race sports anime. I wouldn't say it's anywhere near Haikyuu!! level, but if you're not as much of a critic as I am, take a look because the race sequences can get exciting. Also has a lot of hot ass dudes, not exactly a reverse harem but if that's your thing then hey

Dagashi Kashi: Also a funny anime (not on the same tier as Kono Suba), the story is about a teenager working in a candy store. But you have to be a lot more knowledgeable with the Japanese language and their candy brands. There are a lot of inside jokes that revolve around candy brands so you might not fully appreciate it if you don't have a clear understanding. Some of the jokes are also VERY suggestive.

Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm: Beautiful animation with a ridiculous looking sport that has a very "into the future" style. If you like kawaii school girls, watch this shit ASAP.

Hai to Gensou no Grimgar: AMAZING animation, everything looks as if it's brought to life. Definitely the best art of the season. As for the story, it was adopted from the LN, and as a reader of the LN I can tell you that it's very slow and has very little action. If you want fast paced anime with lots of fights and character development, this is not for you. If you want to enjoy the art (and by enjoy I mean have an orgasm) and you can be patient, then I suggest this for you.

Anyways, this is God-Tier anime highly reccomended really nice ending aswell.
