Resolved (Windows) Constantly reinstalling

    I have to reinstall the game every time I want to play it after turning on my laptop.

    It's as though once my laptop shuts off and turns back on, everything resets. It either says that I don't have proper permission or that the shortcut can no longer be used, and it prompts me to delete it.

    These are the things I've done, but none of it has worked:

    - I've turned off my Windows Defender protection so it doesn't block me when it confuses it with a threat
    - Right clicked the MapleLegends shortcut and clicked 'run as administrator'

    None of these have worked, the only thing I can do is uninstall and then reinstall.

    Your anti virus is deleting it somehow. Make an exception to the folder, don't just turn it off, cause Windows Defender turn itself back on each restart on Windows 8+

    Just tried it again after turning it off for the night. Same problems :/

    Before you use Kim's guide, re-install for the last time the game and don't enter it till you finish the exception

    Defender nukes the client as soon it sees it. You need make an exception THAN re-install like the guide states.

    I reinstalled it just now, but I'm getting this:

    Ah, wait a sec! I turned my computer on again and I didn't have to run as administrator - ML is up and running. Thanks, everyone! Much appreciated. I fame you all
