eventmap has to be enabled manually in this case (and perhaps forgotten as I did myself ahahaha)

Situation 1) player without safety charm will not lose exp when dying.

Situation 2) will player with safety charm lose their safety charm when dying?

 

Yes, this is why the GMs recommended players to put away their safety charms.

 

Well gg if GM forgot to turn on the command, exp loss for high level char could mean hours of grinding, mistakes like this will be frustrating.
It will be tedious to refund exp to each players too.

GM has to be more careful on this.
Player should test dying with their mule first.

Empathy goes both way.
If OP doesn't fuck the GM this way, perhaps they will get some genuine apology.
It's a mistake and misunderstanding.

I believe the GMs offered to refund EXP to any character affected by opening an @gm ticket. It was their mistake and it seems they're making efforts to rectify it.

Confused - if rewards and time mattered so much to you, why didn't you just ask them both q's before you committed a whole 2 hours?

 

Exp cant be refunded and afaik never has been done.

I am very curious what Abagnale meant with making an @gm ticket and what he can provide

 

I mean you could just query their exp pre event and compensate the difference in exp back

 

setting aside the complications associated with that. It has to my knowledge never been done.

i also dont think exp is tracked anywhere in db

Uhm just so we are clear im HAPPY to have cleared my HP challenge for killing rogs with this event.

 

It's nice that there are staff and others who are supportive and cordial with meeting these concerns.
