    First try this: Properties>Compatibility>Check the compatibility box and run it on windows 7'.If that doesn't work ,try this:
    - Make sure you have the latest DirectX version installed.
    - Update your video drivers
    - Run Setup in your MapleStory folder.
    - Try reinstalling Maple after doing all that in case it still doesn't work.

    Windows 7 is not even an option? Also seems like I got the latest video driver installed. Maybe reverse to an earlier one?

    Oh and finally there doesnt seem to be a set -up in the maplelegends file. Thanks for your help, but it doesnt seem to help =(.

    It's supposed to look like this: http://imgur.com/3TQm2RH ,are you sure there is no Windows 7 option?
    Also,try a fresh reinstall if all of the above doesn't work,but I heard if you change compatibility it will work.

    From what I found

    Since you're running XP I found this;
    Right-click on your desktop>Properties>Settings> Troubleshoot>Turn "Hardware Acceleration" to full. (pretty much what Cozy suggested in the other thread.)
