How about allowing .gif files as profile picture thingies?
I know they're already allowed, but they're static. perhaps allow them to be dynamic? cx

I know exactly what your avatar will be. SlimeXD
I'm for it. I think it's fun to see a moving avatar once in a while.

Totally fine with this if an easy method is out there to implement it. Xenforo doesn't support it by default.

Apologies for bumping an old thread, I was going to make the same suggestion.

Was there any update regarding this? In the current state it seems that the result is the same (file type is allowed, but only one frame is preserved). Although this version of XF doesn't seem to support them by default, I think having the newer version of PHP extension Imagemagick selected as the default image processor may do the trick. I'm more familiar with vBulletin, so I'm not exactly sure myself... Would there possibly be any interest in taking another look at this?
