Guide: Weddings

This Valentines season weddings have been officially implemented into MapleLegends.
We have kept it pretty similar to GMS weddings.
Although weddings are not complicated, there are multiple steps.
All the information you need is in this guide, do not hesitate to ask any questions.

Same sex marriages are possible, so for the purpose of this guide, I will use Person A as the
person who starts the engagement and Person B as the person who accepts the proposal.

Amoria Party Quest is not in this guide nor this patch.
You must be level 10 to marry
(Guests however can be any level)​

RINGS

Spoiler: Moon Stone Ring

• 1 Moon Rock
• 1 Diamond
• 3 000 000 mesos

• 1 Star Rock

*Please note: DO NOT PUT THE RING ON DURING THE WEDDING you will DISCONNECT (we are looking into this)

ENGAGEMENTS

Spoiler: Making your engagement ring

To make an engagement ring, Person A will need to start the process at the NPC Moony in Amoria.

Select the option "make an engagement ring for your lover".
He will ask you to find 4 proofs of love from 4 of the 6 love fairies, Nana. The Nana fairies
could be found in Henesys, Kerning City, Perion, Ellinia, Orbis, and Ludibrium.
Considering you will already be in Victoria Island, I highly suggest simply using the 4 Nana's
on the Island itself and not traveling to Orbis or Ludibrium.
Please note that each Nana will ask for you to complete a quest to obtain their proof of love.
You may only visit each Nana once.

Return to Moony once you have obtained 4 proofs of love. I would suggest getting the
required items for the engagement rings before returning to Moony. Once you give him the 4
proofs, he will ask for the items required to craft the ring. These items have been listed in the
"ring section" above. You MUST have space in your 'use' inventory in order to trade in your
items for an engagement ring box.

Once you have obtained your engagement box, simply use it by double clicking.
Write your partners name in the pop-up and they will receive a message kindly asking them
if they wish to marry you. If they accept, you will receive a message saying that you are both
now engaged and you will both receive an empty ring box in your ETC inventories.
Please make sure both of you have space in your 'ETC' inventory before asking
your partner (Person B) to marry them

WEDDING PREPARATIONS

Spoiler: The Wedding Ticket

This is the stage where you MUST buy the Wedding Ticket in order to proceed.
There are two tickets to chose from:

• Wedding Ticket Chapel
  
  (Premium): 20 000 NX Cash
  -This Wedding Ticket can ONLY be used at the Chapel
  -This Wedding Ticket comes with 15 guest invitations and 1 special event​
• Wedding Ticket Cathedral
  
  (Premium): 25 000 NX Cash
  -This Wedding Ticket can ONLY be used at the Cathedral
  -This Wedding Ticket comes with 15 guest invitations and 1 special event​

Once your Wedding Ticket has been purchased you must do the following:

• Make sure both you and your fiancé(e) have two inventory slots in your "ETC" inventory
• Form a party of two that includes your new fiancé(e) and yourself

You are now ready to reserve the venue!

Spoiler: Inviting Guests

To invite guest to your wedding, simply double click on the Wedding Invitation in your ETC inventory.

• Invitation - Chapel
• Invitation - Cathedral

Hint: It would help if you send a small word to your friends before sending the Invitation asking
them to make 1 spot in their ETC inventory. The guests must be online to receive an invite.
Simply type in your guests name properly and it will send them a note:

The guest will receive 1 guest invitation in their ETC inventories.
Once the Wedding begins, the guest will have to double click the Invitation in your channel and they will be
automatically warped to Amoria.

If you wish to invite more people to the wedding, you must buy:

• Wedding Invitation Ticket : 3 000 NX Cash
  Use this item and trade it to Victoria (Cathedral) or Wayne (Chapel)
  They will exchange it for 1 more Invitation
  

Spoiler: Reserving the venue

To reserve the Chapel, you must talk to Wayne: Chapel Wedding Coordinator

He will give you and your fiancé(e) 15 Wedding Invitations each.
You may also start your wedding right away.

To reserve the Cathedral, you must talk to Victoria: Cathedral Wedding Coordinator

She will give you and your fiancé(e) 15 Wedding Invitations each.
Marriages at the Cathedral require an extra quest for Person B: Getting Your Parents' Blessing

Spoiler: Getting your parent's blessing

Person B can start this quest by speaking to High Priest John: Cathedral Wedding Official

​

He will require that they get their parents blessing before getting married. Person B will then have
to go to the top of Henesys Hunting Ground II, climb the ribbon rope to find Mom and Dad.

​

Mom and Dad will require Person B to bring them 2 Proofs of love. These Proofs can be obtained in the
exact same way as they were for the engagement. Once Person B has the 2 Proofs of love, they can return to
Mom and Dad and Person B will recieve their blessing. They must then talk to High Priest John
once more to get the Officiater's Permission to start the wedding.

You may now invite your friends to your wedding. As mentioned above, if you require more wedding
invitations, you can buy them for 3k each in the Cash Shop. Lets be real here though, you dont have
more than 15 friends. Kappa.

THE WEDDING

Spoiler: Getting married at the Chapel

Reminder: You must be in a party of two with you and your fiancé(e). Now that you've invited
your friends, speak to Assistant Bonnie - Chapel Staff:

Say that you are ready to start the wedding. She will warp you to your wedding altar and there
will be a global announcement announcing that your wedding is starting shortly.

If your guests are in Amoria, they must click Assistant Bonnie to join you at the
altar. If they are somewhere else in the Maple world, the can double click their
invitation. This will warp them to Amoria where they can talk to Bonnie to join
the bride and groom.

Be cautionary of the time limits:

• The chapel ceremony lasts 9 minutes
• You must start the wedding within 5 minutes - or else it will be started automatically
• If you wish to start the wedding before the 5 minutes are over, click on Assistant Jackie

• The ceremony will now start. Once you have finished with the ceremony, theres a possibility
  that the timer will not be done. You can stay until the timer has run out or simply speak to
  Assistant Jackie and she will bring you to the next stage.

Its picture time! You will now be in the map: The Cherished Visage where you can take pictures of
you and your friends on a wedding cake! You will have 5 minutes to relax, take pictures and enjoy
your wedding cake!

When the 5 minutes are over, you will be brought to your wedding party! In this stage, you must kill the
monsters and obtain 3 keys. Fun fun fun~ Once you have the 3 keys, bring them to Robin the Huntress

In exchange for your keys, Robin will warp you to the Wedding Bear map where you can break
a present and obtain a box . Pila Present in Amoria will give you a reward if you bring her
this box.

Spoiler: Getting married in the Cathedral

Reminder: You must be in a party of two with you and your fiancé(e). Now that you have gotten the
blessing from John the Priest, Mom and Dad, and you've invited your friends, speak to Assistant
Nicole - Cathedral Staff:

Say that you are ready to start the wedding. She will warp you to your wedding altar and there
will be a global announcement announcing that your wedding is starting shortly.

If your guests are in Amoria, they must click Assistant Nicole to join you at the
altar. If they are somewhere else in the Maple world, the can double click their
invitation. This will warp them to Amoria where they can talk to Assistant Nicole and join
the bride and groom.

Be cautionary of the time limits:

• The Cathedral ceremony lasts 18 minutes
• You must start the wedding within 10 minutes - or else it will be started automatically
• If you wish to start the wedding before the 10 minutes are over, click on Assistant Nancy

• The ceremony will now start. Once you have finished with the ceremony, there is a possibility that the
  timer will not be done. You can stay until the timer has run out or simply speak to Assistant Nancy
  and she will bring you to the next stage.

Its picture time! You will now be in the map: The Cherished Visage where you can take pictures of
you and your friends on a wedding cake! You will have 5 minutes to relax, take pictures and enjoy
your wedding cake!

When the 5 minutes are over, you will be brought to your wedding party! In this stage, you must kill the

There are a few rewards that come with getting married (Onyx Chests) so don't forget to trade your Onyx
Chest when you get one at Pila Present. Enjoy, relax, have fun and most importantly, find someone you get
along with! After all, you two will have your own secret spouse chat.

DIVORCE

Spoiler: How to get a divorce

Unfortunately marriages don't always work out the way we went them to. People change, disagreements
happen, catfishes everywhere, people quit... You know the drill

Thankfully, you can get a divorce!

Talk to Moony in Amoria and select the option about annulling a marriage. It costs 5 000 000 mesos to
get a divorce

​

After a divorce you have to wait a week to remarry.
