Halloween 2024 - Olivia PQ guide

To be achieved in sequence:

• Complete Part 1 pre-quest (Halloween 2022)

  • Part 1 completion means you have all 4 masks and also unlocks Butler PQ
• Complete Part 2 & 3 pre-quest (Halloween 2023 & 2024)

• Earn Olivia PQ entries from Butler PQ

• Obtain a Cursed Knife from Masked Gentleman

Olivia PQ
=========
Duration: 10 minutes
Recommended party size: 6 pax (4-5pax if everyone is experienced)
Enter the PQ by having the party leader talk to the Masked Gentleman


Summoning Olivia

Party leader need to double click on the mirror (center bottom, where the cursor is) and enter "Olivia" in the textbox.


The Main Map - Olivia

• Everyone only deals 10 damage to Olivia per hit
• Damage from Olivia is not a concern
• Statuses involved
  • Confusion (casted by Olivia)
  • Seduce (from falling Piano)

• 2 mini dolls will be summoned occasionally.
  • Brown Bear - knockback blow
  • White Rabbit - heals Olivia (kill this one asap)

At random moments during the fight, Olivia will banish 2 random party members to different map(s). There are 2 types of secret maps involved with different tasks to be done.


The Secret Maps

(Usable platforms and ropes are highlighted in red)

• Both of the secret maps look similar and have a separate 2min timer from the PQ timer
• To exit the map, climb your way from the left, to the door at top left (as shown in pic above)
  
• If you remain in the room until the timer runs out, you will be teleported out of the PQ

Spoiler: The Fireplace Map

Spoiler: How to recognise this map?

• Has the name of Olivia's Secret Room 2 on the mini map
• There are wooden boxes and there is a faint light at the fireplace.
• Chat appears a message "Olivia banishes you to a cold room. Maybe there is something to light the fireplace with..."

• Hit all 4 boxes (highlighted in red) to gather 4 firewoods
• Drop the stack of firewood (must be a stack of 4) at the Fireplace (highlighted in white)
• Once the fireplace consumes the firewood stack, you can exit the map.
• Doing this will deal additional damage of 1200 to Olivia AND killing the mini dolls (if they're summoned).
• REMINDER on the 2mins timer - If you couldn't complete it on time, just exit the room.

Spoiler: The Chandelier Map

Spoiler: How to recognise this map?

• Has the name of Olivia's Secret Room 3 on the mini map
• Chandeliers are not lighted up, and there are no boxes in the room.
• Chat appears a message "Olivia banishes you to an eerie room. The chandelier is strangely unlit..."

• Simply hit those 4 skulls (highlighted in red) with regular attack.
• Once all of them lights up, you can exit the map.
• Doing this will deal additional damage of 400 to Olivia AND killing the mini dolls (if they're summoned)

Spoiler: How it looks like when its lighted up

Sometimes you might end up in the Secret Map where chandeliers are already lighted up + no boxes around. In this case u can simply exit the map.



Tips from the community (for a more efficient run)

• If one doesn't know how to do the Secret Map task when banished, you're better off exiting the secret map asap and rejoin the party in Main Map (every second counts)
• You can tank damages in time (to get iframed) to avoid any status inflict and knockback blow, using the flying books around the center of map
• To avoid getting Confusion you can also stay behind Olivia
• Venomous Star skill from NL/Shad works on mini mobs
• If the Secret Map task isn't being performed by the time the next round of banish happens, the 2nd person who comes into the room won't have any task to do, meaning a round of good damage on Olivia is wasted. Hence it is important to perform the task in time (unless it is a deliberate decision to wait it out)
• Olivia only casts confusion when someone is standing right next to her on the same level of platform. To overcome this, all party members can lure Olivia to the lamp table and attack from there (standing at table can also avoid confusion even when its casted). It is also a strategic spot to jump into the flying books to avoid seduce.

Rewards

• Once you clear the run, talk to Masked Gentlemen and claim your reward there. (You can also stack your winnings and claim all in one go)
• Base rewards are 1 attack buff and 1 raffle. A second raffle will be credited at a 50% chance.

*Failing a run will not consume your Olivia entry.
