Windows 8/8.1/10 Lagging in game but it's not my internet issue

    Hi guys, would love to hear some tech advice.
    I am lagging seriously in MapleLegends, frequent dc-ing.
    I check my internet connection, there is no issue, can play youtube video fine without lag, only lag in game.

    When I play MapleLegends, I didn't stream any stuff, didn't load any video.

    I couldnt guarantee if there is any background updates which caused the lag, but if there is, it should cause youtube video to be lag too.

    I also asked player from the same country, they didn't experience any lag.

    This is my limited tech knowledge, hope to get some advice.

    Someone suggested me to run the client in Window 7 Compatibility, I tried and it doesn't help.

    Aren't you located in SEA, Tsuki?
    There are regional issues there with connecting to the server occasionally. I don't think there's anything you could do on your end to fix it (or anything that staff could do on their end to fix it).

    VPN seems to help for many when it comes to regional issues.

    Update: this issue only happen on my gaming laptop.
    Switched to my old laptop and no more lag
