Hello and welcome to the world of Etrian Odyssey.

You are an aspiring adventurer who has just arrived in the regal ocean city Amoroad.
You have been called by the Senatus, the ruling body, of Amoroad to explore the undersea
labyrinth, however, countless explorers have perished or have never been heard of again after stepping inside. These impenetrable ruins came to be known as the Yggdrasil Labyrinth and it's legend spread across the land. You, yourself, are an explorer who has heard of the legends surrounding the Labyrinth and sailed to Amoroad to investigate.

Your objective: To challenge and conquer the labyrinth and win fortune and fame. This is your story!

After arriving at Amoroad, you head straight to the Explorers Guild to create a guild and find yourself comrades who will tackle the Labyrinth with you.

You are greeted by the Explorer's guild's master.

"Hello, newcomers. You're standing in the one and only explorers guild in the ocean city of Amoroad. I'm here to supervise all the explorers who find themselves in our fair burg. Here's a little something I give every new guild for signing up."

    You received the Guild Certificate.
    You received the Cross Script.
    You received the Resolve Script.
    You received the Offense Script.

The guildmaster continues speaking after handing you a few documents and certificates.

"Now, let's get to it. First, write your guild name on the space provided on the certificate.
Think hard, because that name may be known someday across the seven seas. It all depends on you."

You start brainstorming guild names. After a few minutes, you decide on the name Legends.

"Legends, huh...? An odd name, but I like it. Well then, step two is registering explorers in your guild. You'll need to hire a few folks, but it's up to you whether or not you want to become a member too"

At the Explorers Guild, you can register explorers and organize your party. Choose your favored class from the list and form up a party up to five explorers.

As you are thinking of who to recruit, a young noble approaches you.

"H-hello. My name is Koneko. Are you still looking for guild members?"

    You nod at her question.

    "May I join your guild?"

    To which, you answer favorably.

"Thank you! I'm of the Princess class. I'm mainly a support class, who enchants and heals. I can also attack but I'm afraid I do not do as much damage as some other classes. But I'll try my best to support the guild!"

With the addition of Koneko. You have to recruit 3 more members.

It is now time to recruit fellow explorer's into your guild. But for now, let's hear more about you.

What is your name? Age? Class? and playstyle (risk taker? or cautious?...etc) Would you like to share your backstory with your members? Feel free to be creative! Repeat classes are allowed, but be warned that, for example, 5 healers in your party will make for bad offense. Balance is key!

    Available Classes:
    Prince/Princess
    (Frontline and Rear) Support.
    • Those of royal blood from kingdoms large and small. Their orders raise moral to turn the tide in battle. (Supporting combatants on either line.) upload_2022-1-16_3-15-12.png
    Gladiator (Frontline) Damage.
    • Couragous and strong, they eschew armor to display their trained bodies and fight with swords and hammers. (Vigorous attackers of the front line.) upload_2022-1-16_3-15-38.png

    Hoplite (Frontline or Rear) Tank.
    • Their golden armor gives them unequalled defense, while their spears provide a strong offense. (Defense specialists on either line.) upload_2022-1-16_3-16-10.png
    Buccaneer (Frontline) Support+Damage.
    • These decendants of pirates learned to fight in gangs, supporting each other rather than dueling. (Cooperative attackers of the front line.) upload_2022-1-16_3-16-27.png
    Ninja (Frontline or Rear) Special+Damage.
    • They hide in shadows and use the art of ninpo, the advanced practice of which can create duplicates of oneself. (Special attackers who work on either line.) upload_2022-1-16_3-16-48.png
    Monk (Frontline or Rear) Healer+Damage.

    • Scientific magicians who manipulate the etheric energy of the stars. Highly valuable in battle. (Elemental attackers of the backline.) upload_2022-1-16_3-17-27.png
    Wildling (Frontline or Rear) Specialist+Damage+Summoner
    • Their rapport with the beasts give them command over many animals. Some can even control lions. (Beastly summoners of the backline.) upload_2022-1-16_3-17-43.png
    Arbalist (Rear) Damage.
    • Experts in giant bows and cannons as big as they are, the fire-power they provide is a worthy asset. (Long-range attackers of the back line.) upload_2022-1-16_3-17-57.png
    Farmer (Rear) Specialist.
    • These farmers seek to apply their wisdom to navigate the Labyrinth despite their clumsiness in battle (Exploration specialists of the back line.) upload_2022-1-16_3-18-16.png

Etrian Odyssey is a dungeon crawler first person turn based rpg, usually without any real story except the one you create yourself, where you create your party and go into the labyrinth to create your own legend!! To people who know of this game already probably already know what I'm talking about, please be polite and patient to others who might not.

Edit: I noticed that some of the text shows up wrong when you are using the Forum's Light mode. Apologies for this.

Edit 2: Fixed the Light Mode text. Not sure if it will work with Darkmode.
