Speaking of Omega Sector, Agent Marco is a spiting image of Agent J (Edwards) from Men in Black.

 

• El Nath seems to be an in-game version of Jerusalem (city in Israel). Like Jerusalem (at winter), the town is surrounded by snow and hexgrams (Jewish culture) and NPCs with Arab names and middle eastern attributes (The storage keeper is called Mohammed and has a camel).

• Mikhail (from Hebrew;"whose like God") is considered one of God's angels in Christianity and Judaism. This name is especially present in Kabbalah, which MapleStory imagery has been commonly inspired by.

About Versal, earlier I read through the the lv. 40 quest called "Lost!".

According to Elpam Gorlab the only creatures that have the item he needs to return to Versal in what we know as our regular Maple world seem to be Barnard Grays.
Which is what got me thinking a little bit, because since there's been mentioned that Versal is possibly a reversed copy of our World..
This could mean the story of Omega sector is partly connected to Versal, since the NPC's over there quite often mentioned that the Aliens came from another planet, world, dimension.
(Not entirely sure if the Mateon's monster family is included in this though, I guess it should be..)

Also there's no doubt in my mind that Versal is a world where everything's the complete opposite of the maple we know because..
As we all know by now, the Balrogs as we know them aren't quite the friendly type eh..?

But Elpam Gorlab seems to be the exact opposite, whenever you talk to the NPC he/she seems like a nice calm 'n quiet person. Also in Versal they're benevolent creatures, and it's a mark of honor to be associated with them apparently. He also mentioned he found it a bit strange that the Balrogs as we know them are quite fearsome here.

And lastly for now it also seems like the way they talk in Versal is the same as we do but with every single word reversed, yet the order of the words that are being used stay the same

E.g; Ym eman si Ywohc dna m'i a Relwarb

Moon Bunny's story
It is actually Chinese/Buddhist mythological character. We named it as 月兔 (Yue Tu)/玉兔 (Yu Tu) or Jade Rabbit or Gold Rabbit. The story is, an Ascetics begged four animals (Fox, Monkey, Otter and Bunny) for food. Monkey brought fruits, otter brought fishes and fox brought lizards and milk curd. As Rabbit unable to find food for him, Rabbit sacrificed itself by burning itself and it turned into food. The Ascetics touches its soul and drew Bunny on the moon for remembering it.

In versal, you die when you reach 0 MP! But getting hit drains your MP, and using skills costs HP. So yeah, it's backwards but not much difference than you think. ^^

Okay, so, when you ride the Orbis Ship, there is a chance that after 1 minute Balrogs will hijack the boat and instantly kill you if you have less than 2.5k HP. Pretty known fact, everybody remembers it happened to them sometimes.
However, take a look at the name of the track that plays when the Balrogs hijack the boat:
