Windows 8/8.1/10 MapleLegends.exe removed?

Heya,

When I wanted to play ML yesterday the shortcut destination was removed. I looked it up and only the windowed.exe was still there. (ofcourse the server was down so this one didn't work either).
But now I want to play again but this time also the windowed.exe is gone.

How is this possible?
What should I do?
Is my computer still safe?

 

Should I reinstall ml first since the .exe's are gone?
And, not the complete ml folder was already excluded, but the specific maplelegends.exe was. So...
