    Hello Maplers,

    We will be performing a Scheduled Maintenance on Sunday, April 16th. It will last approximately 30 minutes ~ 1 hour. Upon completion, the game will be brought back online and service will be restored. Once restored, you can login and play!

    Time:
    8 PM server time (@time)

    What will be unavailable:
    • All MapleLegends game servers and channels
    Changes and Updates:
    • Changed Cake to no longer have a boss bar - however instead there will be announcements in chat at specific HP percentages (75,50,25,10,5,1). We believe this may help with the lag (lag being massive packets being send each hit cake gets, and needs to update the boss bar). No promises, this is experimental
    • You now need to hit cake 100 times to get a marble instead of 150
    • Event Map will now automatic mute at cake fight and unmute at cake end
    • Some items has been removed from being announced due to complaints of lag (Anniversary rewards)

      Done during maintenance:
    • Checking if the CC DC issue we recently have also occur when no people are online, since we want to re-fix this badly

    More things may be added before the end of restart. If you have any errors after the restart, please create a bug report and describe the issue.

    Never had any lag during cake before, even with 3 clients on. it must be peoples computers or wifi....

    I second this, though that could be because my computers are within the room which has my modem and router. Even when I'm on my laptop the connection is fine. So who knows. (Though it would be nice to have the local chat disabled during the cake boss fight, MapleLegends ran like butter for me then.)

    Hello.

    The cause of the saving issues experienced by players shortly before the early maintenance is the result of the integer cap being reached by player quest data.
    In short, this means that quests have been added into the database over 2.14 billion times over the past 2 years.

    Congratulations to the questers of MapleLegends on an impressive feat. Issue is being worked on, and status will be updated when complete.

    Added the following to maintenance post:
    • Event map will now automatic mute at cake fight and unmute at cake end
    • Some rewards from the Anniversary Event will not be smega'd anymore due to complaints of lag

      Also, I am very sure the CC DCing is not due to our source but our firewalls, so we have re-contacted our host admin to look into it. Won't be fixed yet after this maintenance, but hopefully really soon :)
