Completed Scheduled Maintenance December 23, 2015

    Hello Maplers,

    We will be performing a Scheduled Maintenance on Wednesday, December 23. It will last approximately 30 min~1 hour 30 min. Upon completion, the game will be brought back online and service will be restored. Once restored, you can login and play! New updated files will be available for download shortly after the beginning of the maintenance. Detailed patch notes will be provided at the conclusion of the maintenance.

    Time:
    Started at 6:00 PM

    What will be unavailable:
    • All MapleLegends game servers and channels
    Changes and Updates:
    • Gachapon changes (vote + mob Gachapon)
    • Introduction of the Mob Gachapon ticket beta test
    • Changes to the Horntail portal scripts
    • Additional changes for future GM hosted events
    • New patch, required to download in order to play
    • Start of the Christmas Major event

    Patch notes (client sided):
    • A lot of new hairs and faces added, not decided yet how to use them
    • Newer skins added, not decided yet how to use them
    • Christmas themed Free Market
    • MapleStory logo changed to old one
    • Minor map fixes and other grammar related fixes
    • Fire Oblivions are now weak to ice
    • Re-removed invincible frames of some mobs

      MAC client changes:
    • End game banner has been stripped from client since it requires Internet Explorer and do not work
    • All of the other patches listed above

    Download link will be available once the maintenance started. It is REQUIRED to patch your game or else you'll disconnect everywhere because of our updates. Like our last patch, a .jar (java) based patcher will be available for easy patching (no .wz edits accepted), or full installers for those where patcher won't work.

    What's the point of mobs dropping gachatickets, when it didn't happen in retail maple either. It'll just fuck up the already fucked up economy. Make everyone rich with no effort.

    It puts bishops etc worthless jobs that sit around spamming one button literally get even more money on top of selling overpriced leech to lazy people. As if every maplestory private server wasn't already subject to player/guild favouritism..

    When bishops gets 'attacked' even on the maintenance thread...

    Anyw, I believe it's mentioned how drop rates can be changed for different jobs so it is still somewhat balanced. And, if you had an issue with the decision, it's based on the majority's vote on the poll. You could've mentioned your opinion there as well. But all in all, it's already decided and it's on beta, if it doesn't turn out well, I believe things will be changed, so let's be more positive shall we? OnionNervous

    Wait, so the update is that mobs will now drop gacha tickets? thats ridiculous..

    (if anything, make normal items 'somewhat farmable' instead. READ: White Nisrock etc. uknow..)
