I am confused about one part, since speed infusion is not stackable with booster in this patch. Does that make a lv 1 speed infusion equal to booster or is it greater?

 

I might be wrong, if so corrections are more than welcome as I don't have as much party/boss experience as other buccaneers might have.
but here's my shot at helping you out.

Lv 1 thru 10 Speed infusion gives +3 attack speed / 11-20 gives +4

No matter what, thieves don't benefit from SI as they can hit att speed cap themselves with their own booster. (only difference is that when both skills are maxed Speed infusion lasts longer compared to booster when used)

I think thru lvls 1-10 the only classes I believe that benefit from +3 att speed are mages, (bowmen, altho I'm not entirely sure) and 2handed weapon using warriors.
Once lvl 11 speed infusion has been hit however, the only class like I stated above who doesn't benefit from the +4 attack speed are thieves (This I am 100% sure about).

I was also conflicted on whether i should prioritize getting SI to lv 11 first or not or just go with dragon strike/barrage first.
I know it just sacrificing some damage for a few levels.

 

Thank you so much for replying! Therefore SI lv.11 wouldnt affect me but only party members? I know that varies on weapons too correct? Like for instance warriors with stonetooth sword would probably not be affected by lv.11 SI? I guess its something I need to test out in game in the future.

 

Lv11 SI is the minimum level for warriors and mages to feel its true potency. Max DS first if you're going the farm route (you really should do this) or max Barrage first if you're gonna boss literally all day (pianus + pap + etc prior to Zakum).

 

Thanks! yeah I had decide to go with dragon strike first for better training/farming purposes, and si to 11 afterwards.

 

No no no no no. Get SI11 first. 1 point in DS and Barrage is ENOUGH. You need that booster to help party more than your own personal damage (11 is just optimal)

 

I see I see, okay at least it wouldn't take long for si to be at 11. then i can focus on attack skills afterwards. Thank you. Although it might not be as well affective for those warriors who uses stone tooth sword correct? I got confused about your post earlier haha, i thought you were suggesting to go with dragon strike first and foremost before anything.

 

mages and warriors will dry hump you for speed infusion :^)

 

Buccaneer's damage will start spiking at around level 130/135+, mainly because your SI will be lv11, DS will definitely be at lv21, and Barrage at 21+

The information about Dragon Strike is wrong.
At Level 1, it deals 275% damage to 4 mobs.

Can any fellow Buc's confirm drop list for DS 30? besides manon and squid there was other information it drops from red slime, oblivion guardians as well.
