Windows 8/8.1/10 Windowed mode not working

Hi, maple windowed mode doesn't work for me, i just wanna play in windowed cause its what i have been doing since i started maple in 08. I've been looking at other posts but no other solutions help me

Problems/ solutions I've tried
1. If i press Alt Enter i get the "Alt f12 state" some weird numbers in a black box at the top right corner i guess fps. ( i also tried ctrl/shift enter nothing happends) *same happends if i press Alt f12*
2. I have tried selecting it with the mouse as well but nope (view mode) after selecting it keeps in full screen and deselect everything so neither window mode or full screen mode says it selected
3. Maple Legend Embedder does not work i guess since it needs to be in window mode ? not sure
4. Changing compatibility currently using windows 98/ windows me, Changing them some of them will allow me to start the game some of them not
5.I have tried changing to all diffrent screen resolutions, hasnt worked out for any of them.
6.I even tried dxwnd and that doesn't work either

Windows 10
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00GHz (8 CPUs), ~4.0GHz
DirectX Version: DirectX 12
Graphics card: AMD Radeon (TM) R9 390 Series

Oh sorry i dont know if i said it, but i already tried that solution and when i run it from that one that is linked, and the new version of dxwnd it will just run in full screen how i normally play it.

 

I tried this, it just still makes the beeping noise, i think it may be because i have windows 10? idk, also i have been able to make dxwnd work, just that when i use it it zooms my screen in so much that i actually cant use it T-T. i guess i'll just have to play full screen mode.
