Your Latest Failures!

So here we go, will share this in a couple of screenshots..

I decided to hit up Vergamot for my first time!
Given that I'm an ice Lightning mage and mages excel at all the bossing content in MapleLegends this should be a walk in the park /s

Edann decided to be nice enough to join me in the run and it would be a duo Ice lightning run! great fun and shouldn't even have to take that long amiright!?

Ok so I'm lvl 161 at this point and will be dealing 7% less damage as Vergamot is 168. Edann is at 17x
We go in guns blazing and and it looks to be surprisingly quick!


Took me some time to get used to when to duck the attacks and needless to say I lose my basket in no time.. back to 2868 HP we go.
Technically I can tank all hits as long as I stay full hp.

Almost half an hour in we are already halfway the 2nd body, which is a pain in the ass for us as it's the one body being strong against Lightning. Now another challenge appeared.. Edann had some duties and had to leave the run leaving me left alone to destroy Vergamot in honor of Edann!

This is going to be quite the task


I keep going strong, duck attack attack attack duck and rinse repeat.. trying to get hit as little as possible. And even though my damage is low on the 2nd body it's going surprisingly well!

In less than 30 minutes from this point I took it down to it's 3rd and final body, and oh boy have I heard bad things about it.



I take it easy to begin with even take a very short break and stand in the left corner to get some water to power me through the final stage of Vergamot.

Once I'm used to his attack sequence and feel like I can comfortably dodge all his attacks I decide to put up some YouTube videos on my other monitor and even do some chatting in the MapleLegends Discord. Life's good and all is going well and it looks like I can finish the boss in about 1,5 hours at my current pace.

There we go, just a slither of health left..

(Note that the green bar you still see is not actually another HP bar you have to get rid off, once I finish the red part he will die.)

And then this happened....


I died, 1.5 hours in and a couple thousand ducks further. boom dead, just like that.

I felt defeated, heartbroken but mostly just like a fool for wasting my own time like this.



As you can see here, the reason why I died is because I once forgot to fully heal up and took a total of 2370 damage in HP whilst only having 2261

My journey continues though and I am determined in coming back stronger! Vergamot will be slain whether it'd be solo or with a small gang to help me out.

Currently getting close to 163 and will use another 25 AP resets once I lvl up to gain 120 more HP which would put bu a bit above 3120 hp.

I consider this both a win and a failure though as hitting +4 is already very good. the main issue if being a bit strapped for cash atm
