Stop profit incentives for camping area bosses

How has this not been implemented yet, it got 4 (four!) agrees.

Seriously though, the 10% respawn timer deviation still puts all the power in the hands of the (multiclient) camper when it's so easy to give other players a fair chance at finding an area boss.

 

IMO it would be much better if there was another way to donate the quest, it could be through the dojo or bossPQ themselves

Honestly when boss card rates are this ass, I don’t mind there only being a small deviation in timers. You need like 20 boss kills on average to finish a set iirc and with the small channel number that is 3 1/3 6 channel rotations. Camping is the only viable way of completing those sets most of the time. Otherwise I agree

 

Is doing boss sets even worth it now that we have 25% fewer channels?

 

From my experience with area bosses, you'll run into a small group of people camping for easily 12+ hours daily. You're better off just going for other sets than trying to get the boss cards.

 

This is also what I’ve noticed personally. Seems not worth most of the time.

 

Could a seperate instanced area with modified drops (just whats required to complete these quests) be implemented?

Would solve the problem whilst not effecting boss farming.

Mini game area and expedition from 2012..? I think when Phantom released that added Necro set, 120 boss gear from Hilla.
