Any help/advice for a Brand New player?

Well, you can't avoid the problem. But the chance to meet a "annoy" people in this game it's pretty low.
Can you do the kpq? because if you can't do the kpq, your chance to meet a "annoy" people will increase a lot. If so, try watch some guide videos on youtube, link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_O1mmWR1Jg
Can you do any dmg during kpq? if you hit a lot with high miss chance, i don't think your party members going to be happy of that. try put little more dex stats on your ap, or get some potions that can increase your accuracy.

If you don't like doing party quest with people, try grind by yourself. If you need mesos for potion, try sell your fame in fm and you will get enough money. Or you can just save up your daily vote cash point for gach ticket and try get some good scrolls and stuffs from the gach-machine.

Welcome to Legends !

I would suggest Questing.
Some quest give really good items which you can sell.
And also Quest gives you x3 Exp in this server which helps you level faster then grinding.
When you're higher level around 25 or so, you will not have a problem hitting Ligators which are in KPQ. Then you can spam KPQ till you're 31.
And then from there either you continue questing (Which i prefer) because u get exp + Rewards. And its less monotonous then pure grinding.
And at 35 you can move onto LPQ

You can take a look at the quests here and maybe choose some quests that has better rewards?

PS: U can sell your fame everyday to get some money too. Or if you're really good at drawing art you could sell art for mesos.

Some people in Legends dont mind helping out new player with their pots money, u could go to the FM and ask around for pots money if you desperate need help .

Quests will be your best friends.
PQs will be your future friends.
Hunting Gachas tickets will be your occasional friends with benefits.

When in doubt, ask for help from other maplers too!
