Bonkorn's Wolf Spider Leech Guide

This is STRICTLY my own opinion of what i found best from my experience as a WS leech seller so i feels like sharing it out, if you have any feedbacks, feel free to comment below. Inspired by MrHeals Skele Leech Guide

Wolf Spider (Short Form: WS)
- Level 80 Monster
- 28000 HP
- Weak to Holy: No, Fire: No, Ice: No
- 1.7k Touch Damage
- Level 75 onwards for leechers
- One of the best leech option for buyers during mid levels of 75-85 due to EXP and money wise if seller 1 hit

Magic Required to 1 Hit:
- with Total (Base + Equips) INT 700
Genesis
- Level 1: 1120
- Level 5: 1055
- Level 10: 990

Meteor Shower/Blizzard w/ Maxed 3rd Job Amplification (+35%), Respective Elemental Wand (+25%)
- Level 1: 950
- Level 5: 880
- Level 10: 805

Map & Leecher Placement:
Wolf Spiders are located at MesoGears - Wolf Spider Cavern, expand this for how to go there.

When you get warped, DO NOT talk to the NPC there, just wait and eventually the metro will take off.

Most likely, leecher always stay near the portal, but it's advised to be at bottom left or right of the map to reduce time for buff, so the EXP rate will be constant, of course not close to the corners where wolf spiders could reach you.

Attacking & Rotation:

Sadly, my computer is incapable of recording videos so i will be using image for this.
- One of example video can be found here. Let's not talk about these sick jump cast seen from that.
- Red Dot = Cast
- Blue Dot = Press Up AKA use teleporter (the fire)
- Hopefully Self-Explanatory.

Current Prices & Sellers' Rate (1 hit):
- Solo: 6~7mil, Split: 3~4mil
- Since the map is much complicated than others and lots of techniques able to go on it. You always had to determine how does the seller move and mine experiences for you. I'd recommend you to do some @epm 10 (type in chat) if you're committed to the leech session.
Acceptable least EXP per hour rates would be:
- Bonus such as event +10% not included
- Solo: 6.3mil, Split: 5.4mil

Drops Guide:
The drops you want to look out for are
Iibi Throwing-Stars - 1.5mil
Brown Osfa Boots, DEX 4, LUK 3 - 2mil
Dark Scroll for Spear for Attack 30% - 2mil
Scroll for Claw for Attack 10% - 250k

Fun fact if you look closely on the map.
you notice the maplayout is formed like a spider<3

about the guide itself, great guide many people overlook does mini teleporters left and right from the map

Oof, I self leeched my mules w/o event exp buff, multi tasking: HB buff + Haste/MU on my ungeared bsp w 90% 1 shot rate and I easily hit 5m+/hr split, tho I genesis an additional spot, which is the right side but on the edge of the lower platform b4 dropping down to the mid as a good number of WS spawn by the time I plan to drop down (totaling a 10 cast instead of the 9 mentioned above). wonder how's the leeching economy now since I've been 1yr MIA

Everyone is buying and selling. It's a big market. 3.5m - 4.0m split and 7.0m - 8.0m solo leech WR->WS->ULU1->ULU2
I believe prices jump after that. I'm not sure though as I've been here only a week and a couple of days and I'm only 102. I haven't done higher leech yet or paid attention to prices.

Depends a bit on your total int, assuming you have 850 total int you'd need ~871 TMA to 1hit wolf spiders with Gene 20

with 700 int it's 881

Wait , what do you mean by it depends on total int?... Isn't magic att and int 1:1 ratio?
Assume you need 881 magic to 1 hit, isn't that suppose to be fixed no matter how much total int you have?

No, spell damage is a function of both total int and total magic.

MIN = ((Magic²/1000 + Magic * Mastery * 0.9)/30 + INT/200) * Spell Attack

Yes, I know its a factor.
That's where my first question came in that is with gene 20 how much magic is required.
As Nightz777 said, i did not understand how base int and total int here is a factor to 1 hit monsters ( im talking about gene 20 here )

As shown in the formula for spell damage, INT is weighed in slightly more than just Magic att. so more int means less TMA needed

So does that mean the 1 hit chart in Bella's bishop guide is wrong? Since it depends on the total int..

Required magic for nHKO calculator | MapleLegends Forums - Old School MapleStory

If you play with that calculator, you'll notice TMA - INT gap moves min-dmg of genesis.
