While playing around with the Buccaneer's barrel cancel mechanic, I started to pay close attention to skill cast times, delays, cooldowns, etc. That's what motivated me to suggest 2 things that (if they're possible and simple to implement) would slightly improve the QoL of everyone in the game:

    1. Adjust cooldown timer's position

    * I'm not sure if everyone deals with this visual bug. Apparently it only happens when using the client in higher resolutions (1024x768 or 1366x768).

In our 'quick slot', when using skills that have a cooldown, there's a visual effect that overlays the hotkey to illustrate the cooldown time of the used skill. This overlay has the same shape as the hotkeys with a transparent blue background, and its transparency slowly descends following the remaining time until the skill becomes available again. However, if we look closely at this overlay, we can clearly see that it is a bit misplaced:

By looking at the top and bottom of it, we can see that it's slightly off the correct place by 2 pixels down.
Maybe I'm being a perfectionist, but I'm sure this displacement gets in the way of showing the exact moment when the cooldown ends, since the bottom part of it is 'bleeding' out of the hotkey.

Here's an example of how it would be like if fixed:

    2. Implement a visual effect when cooldowns are over

Visual effects are very helpful to anticipate something that is about to happen, e.g. the flashing effect of the icons on the top right corner of the screen when a skill/buff is about to end. With that in mind, I was wondering if it was possible to implement a simple visual effect to illustrate when a cooldown is over/refreshed.

Here's an example to illustrate better what I'm talking about:

I feel like those small changes would polish the game up a bit, making it more responsive (and juicy as well, haha!). Also, I can see myself very happy using MP Recovery more consistently with this change! MapleF2
