Crafting Collective

Welcome to the thread for the Crafting Collective — an open and dedicated space to any and all things concerning item making (equipment, armor, etc) in MapleStory.​

Crafting involves going to NPCs and giving them a different set of materials, many of which can be collected by various monsters. Some equipment, that wouldn't otherwise be available through monster drops, are found through these means. Of course, there are also items on crafting lists that can also be bought from stores, but often they are sold at a higher price.



Crafting has been traditionally viewed as a niche interest. So, one of the goals, at least in making this space, is to make it seem accessible. Think of it more as a pastime. Crafting is not necessarily a profitable venture — although it can be, in particular situations.
