Information Discord Termination Acknowledgements

Hey all,

I am aware some servers already made their notice, but I wanted at least to sleep a little bit first because this all occurred around 1 AM for me.

Anyway, I guess after long silence the sky turned dark and another flood came over us; the Discord server got terminated without notice, warning, or anything.

For many years I've been a partner, and we even had official Discord staff appear on our server from time to time, fully knowing what content is on our Discord. However, it seems that didn't matter whatsoever initially

From what I've noticed they all occurred at the exact same time, which makes me believe this was an automated process from what I presume the usual copypaste takedown requests.

I am still trying a few things, in the hope this was indeed horrible automated processings, but from what I have read these things will take a long time.

I have currently no Discord account that officially represents me, so anyone claiming to be me is not.

I'll leave it to this because a lot of everything else was already going to be addressed at the end of the year topic. Funnily I also had a Discord section. I'll leave it there, but it will no longer be relevant I suppose.

 

Oh right, one other thing I forgot to mention

- Everything from Nadekobot (exp, and all that stuff) was stored by me locally, so should be still intact. I am however not sure if this is hardcoded against 1 server ID only, which would render it useless now.

While I agree, forums are just not really made for the modern-day anymore. A shoutbox has no sections, so it is not a good solution either. I like things to be too at one place, but forums are just not made for 2021 anymore.
