Hi <3

Welcome everyone. The anniversary event was around the time I started playing this server *last year* and I have made no mentionable progress thus far. After taking a break from MapleLegends I am feeling ready to get back into playing .

I'll be playing a marksman and attempting to reach 18.75k HP!

Spoiler: ABOUT ME

Some of you might know me from my previous attempts at journaling on the forums, but for those of you who are new to this thread; Hi, welcome! I am Floris, I recently turned 24 years old (sigh, getting old man) and am a theoretical physics student from the Netherlands. I also have the cutest doggie in the world called Mouse (he's a pomeranian, a.k.a. little floofball).

Spoiler: RAMBLING PREFACE

I created a new thread but that got deleted. I forgot that there was still this one so a GM reminded me, my bad.

The past year has been a very strange one for most of us. I hope you are all still healthy and doing well and staying safe. For me it was a year of lots of yo-yo-ing back and forth between different ways to 'spend' (or rather, sit out) my time alone in my apartment.
Anyhow, the weather is getting nice and sunny over here and life is slowly returning to the way things were. That makes me feel a lot happier and more motivated to pick back up on this quest I started over a year ago. Hopefully, this time I will "complete" it. I don't know whether I will ever reach level 200 like our almighty godfather of journaling Spencil2 did the other day, but we shall see! Hopefully there'll be some nice progress to journal .

*: the only starting 'funding' is 250k nx cash from voting for a bit
**: the only exception being a Minerva's Owl mule
***: I will not be making a post on days I do not actually play MapleLegends, as it seems redundant to me

So some things happened, will go into a bit of detail in the spoiler below.

Spoiler: story time

As we all know at this point I am just a pathological character re-maker. As per Skuire 's comment I contacted him when getting the urges. This turned out to be very interesting and he made some great points in general regarding the game and my attitude towards it. He also came up with a little something I could do to make it much more difficult for myself to remake my character. I won't bore you with the details, but sadly this did require me to move on to a new, fresh account. Although I was quite reluctant to start again and leave stuff behind (saved up AP resets, donor cash), I think it is for the best in the long run. Thus, I started off on my fresh account and am feeling quite happy ~
Although I did not feel like moving accounts and restarting that much, I think it is for the better this way around.
As always I gave away my gear to noobies before deleting my character.

In the end, I ended up remaking my character on a fresh account. Meaning I have no prior NX saved up. Will make the challenge more interesting probably. The hair/eyes I bought with donor cash LOL (hey aesthetics are important to me okay).

Sold the gloves for magic att 60% for 1.3m

Bathrobe for Men scrolled with 100%s
Blue Maple Bandana I bought for 300k
Crossbow landed a 10%, then a 30% and finished off with 4/5 60% scrolls. Pretty sweet lvl 10 weapon.
Smiling Mask bought for 100k, just to give me some movement speed
Red Ribbon bought from Cash Shop for 2k NX, then used 4 pet eqp for speed 60%s bought for 50k ea.

Quite another big update, am hitting the grindy levels now though ~

- More quests in Victoria Island, Ludi, KFT, Aqua, Orbis
- Grinded at master chronos for a bit over an hour
- Grinded at straw target dummy's

Got quite some gach tickets, mostly got crap though

Spent wayyyy too much money scrolling Maple Crows, this is the best one I got though (one 30%, 2 60%s passed). Boomed 3 other ones with 30%s.
Bought the Red Work Gloves for uhh 2,5m?
