Update General Patch Notes: February 19th, 2023

Welcome to the general Patch notes for the Valentines and Lunar New Year 2023 patch!

This post will contain a comprehensive list of fixes, changes and new implementations for the server side of things, that are in addition to the already-posted client changes.


General Changes

• The Valentines Event is now active! Click here for details.

• The first Beta test of the new Challenges system is now live! Click here for details.
• Full database support for Spikes on Shoes and Cape Warmth attributes have been implemented.
• The option to remove a submitted IGN change request via !changeign command has been disabled.

Skill Changes

Dark Knight:

• The Dark Knight rework is live! Please check the Patch Balance Changes thread for more information.

Marksman:

• Blind's tooltip has been updated to include the blind chance inflicted on Boss monsters.

Debuffs:

• Slow and Confusion (suggested here) now have their unique chat lines upon trigger, to keep them in line with all the other debuffs.

• Stun, Slow, Confusion and Zombify can now be dispelled by special effects (currently only Berserk).

Bugfixes

General:

• Adding the first point to Assassinate via SP reset will no longer fail to upgrade the "Assassinate : Charged" buff, thus crashing players around you upon max-charge triggering.
• The intended version of Beastly Hair will now be used on characters who picked that haircut during Halloween event. The Style Saver list has also been updated to reflect this change.
• Duey packages can now be claimed if the sum of inventory mesos and package mesos is exactly max meso (even when package mesos are 0).

Maps:

• The portal to Broken Corridor no longer spawns you right on top of the exit, risking an accidental warp-out.

Skills:

• [Bowmaster/Marksman] Mortal Blow now correctly checks a monster's HP for the instant-death proc chance before applying its hit damage.

Items:

• Halloween Event chairs (Cube chair excluded) are now tradeable.
• Power Elixir chair now correctly heals 100 HP/MP per 10 seconds (up from 50).
• Attempting to send a 0-quantity Throwing Star item via Duey no longer leaves a glitched delivery window open. Instead, the package will properly fail to send.
• Attempting to retrieve 0-quantity Throwing Stars from Storage Keeper, while having full inventory, will no longer destroy the item. Instead, the "full inventory" error message will display.
• Maple Hats can now be searched in Free Market via Owl of Minerva.

Bosses:

• Ravana now correctly spawns Blue Goblin, Red Goblin & Strong Stone Goblin. Instead of only the Strong Stone Goblin.
