Notice Higher resolution is coming to MapleLegends

Hello,

As we've mentioned on our Discord server due to very personal reasons the Summer Event got further pushed back. We are very sorry about this. Sometimes things going on IRL are just a little bit more important than this game. If you knew what it was, I am very sure you would have agreed. Just let it be known that those involved feel as much bad about it.

I initially wanted to tease this during the end of the Summer Event maintenance. However, due to additional delays, I will do it now. This way, people have another thing to look forward to, instead of just a Summer Event. Do note the work on the higher resolution client is done by a different team, so isn't the cause of the Summer Event being delayed.

The resolution we've chosen right now is 1366x768. The reason why we did choose this resolution is that it looks fabulous on both Windowed and Fullscreen, and we believe full HD was a bit too much for now. This is the resolution of the prototype, but who knows what happens in the future.

FAQ:

Q: Is this optional? I am an Old School person
A: Yes. You can enable and disable it, whatever you want!

Q: Does it support both full screen and windowed?
A: Yes. It looks great in full screen!

Q: Does it support MAC?
A: Yes. We already got the client working on MAC. No screenshots just yet because it's still in an experimental state.

Q: WHEN IS IT OUT?
A: The thing with a mod like this is that a lot and a lot needs to be re-positioned. As everything from MapleLegends, we want to try to polish it as much as possible. Therefore, we put no ETA on this, so time can be taken to make it just look right and not out of place.

We hope you're as excited as us! We can't thank the ones involved in this project enough, and testing edits and documenting locations of things have been a lot of fun!

Now, the wait begins for this as well...
