I want to point out that, right now, if the party members have Magical Stone Pieces, they are also destroyed when entering the boss room, regardless of whether they are the leader or not.

Just the concept of the stone getting destroyed to me is little bit weird because it makes getting the Sunbursts pointless since you can only enter once per quest completion anyway.

Is the Ravana Doll a quest item? Can I give someone who hasn't done the questline a sunburst and still have them able to loot the doll?

 

You would require the magical stone to get to Ravana's altar, and the magic doll is untradeable.

 

If both players require a stone to get into the altar then that's pretty awful, and I don't even see the point of getting 3 Sunbursts if you can only fight Ravana once per quest completion anyway. If that's how it works I can't see anyone fighting this boss more than once, the need for 5 power crystals and 5 luk crystals per run per person is way too steep an entry barrier. Feels like it'd make more sense if the magic stone worked like the Ludibrium Medal and the Sunbursts acted like the crack of dimension. That way you only have to do the quest once and can buy more Sunbursts off other people if you want to fight Ravana again.

 

The repeatable quest that grants you another magical stone does not require you to produce 5 more power/luk crystals. Also, every time you've defeated Ravana, should you choose not to submit the doll, you can always summon Ravana again. The magical stone creates an added difficulty so that users don't easily repeat their tries at a Ravana helm. As compared to either Scarlion or Zakum, Ravana is already much easier. In any case, our version of GT follows the TMS version of GT very closely, and that quest removes the magical stone as well.

 

What level are the Red Goblins, anyone knows?

 

Red goblins should be in the lower level 90s based on its HP and XP.

 

Hello, I think the comments to this thread are kind of misleading, so if anyone ever still uses this guide and scrolls down, here's some additional clarification (as of June 30th, 2020):
•You must have at least two members to get into Ravana boss room (dual clienting is fine, your other party member can also leave via NPC mid-boss and you will not be kicked out)
•In order to get inside Ravana boss room, the leader of the party must have a Magical Stone Piece in their inventory
•The Magical Stone Piece is ONLY consumed during the Ravana Helmet quest turn-in--this means you can fight Ravana twice every day as long as you have Sunbursts (which you can buy in FM if you wanted to)
•One Sunburst is used to summon Ravana
•If you do not have a Magical Stone Piece in your inventory (like if you dropped it or used it in the Ravana helm quest), the Guard will have another quest where you need to collect:
20 Red Goblin's Axe, 20 Blue Goblin's Crown, 20 Stone Goblins' Red Undergarments, 50 Banana Peels (farmed one map left of Golden Temple), and 50 Monkey Dolls (farmed two maps right of Golden Temple)
This quest will give you 2 Sunburst and another Magical Stone Piece

wish they'd remove the 50 banana peels + 50 monkey dolls tbh when the map for the other 20x etc are already kinda aids

also, it's approx 5,000 hp to survive ravana

 

only 3.5k HP if you can avoid getting physical hit right?

 

body/ thunder bolts are 5k+ depending on ur mdef, if u can't pin, its good to take note for ur mules/ranged.

also, since rav spawns the mobs that drops red undergarments, remember to loot them as u need it for ur sunburst/magic stone exchange. would also love if rav could spawn the other 2 quest etc mobs to slightly speed up the exchange quest process

 

Edit: Now Ravana summons an additional 2 mob (red and blue goblins)!

 

Very good guide, btw, today i did the quest on my bucc and never noticed, but the exp it give is pretty nice for a lv 65 char
