Completed Scheduled Maintenance - January 16, 2017

Hello Maplers,

We will be performing a Scheduled Maintenance on Monday, January 16, 2017. It will last approximately 60 minutes. Upon completion, the game will be brought back online and service will be restored. Once restored, you can login and play!

Maria's Nutritious Juice

*While old Maple Island quests will be added, the layout will not be changed.

Disabled quests:
The letter to lucas quest from v62.

Quest changes:
Quest: Luca's Reply
Has Brown Skullcap and Green Headband removed as possible reward, since both are available
Quest: Bigg's Collection of Items
Has Razor removed since its available already
Quest: Camila's Gem
No longer gives cakes since Neckson made the chance super high and not being able to get the quest item in a quest you can only do once is silly. No refunds will be done for those that did the quest already.
Quest: Chief's Instruction
All Maple Island quests has the level 10 limit removed.

Secret Scroll quest changes:
The secret scroll you get from events (Click) got a major overhaul. Most of the junk and equips has been removed, and the following scrolls has been added into the pool:

Other minor text fixes

Client changes:
Parameter is incorrect should now be fixed on all compatibility modes, not just Windows 98/me.

Installer changes:
Windows 98/me automatic compatibility mode has been disabled to test if above is true. For other (Windows 8/10 users) I would like you to turn it off and see if your client still boots all the time after this patch. It shouldn't matter much, but in end I would like everyone to run the game the same way.

More things may be added before the end of the maintenance. If you have any errors after the restart, please create a bug report and describe the issue.

Patcher instructions (do NOT use .wz edits):
1) Close MapleLegends
2) Download the patcher
3) Double click the jar (you NEED Java)
4) Confirm your MapleLegends folder (click yes if use default directory)
5) Let it patch

If it doesn't work for you, use the full installer.

 

This was always the case. For Fitness and Ola you still get one if you finish.
